It has been five years and jaune has proven time and time again how good he was as a captain his ship was being called the second coming of the yamato which warmed his heart he also started a relationship with akira which made him happy especially that she shared his feelings

then again the crew loved their captain and would do anything to serve him for the rest of their careers he was a charismatic and caring leader that would put himself on the line before he allowed anyone of his crew to come to harm he was also known to be an excellent fighter pilot which didn't help at all his ship supported 10 fighters not counting his custom fighter which after hearing stories from akira he modelled the jet specifically after klaus keymans fighter much to her appreciation

"Captain we have a communique" his communications officer saito masuhara said

"From" jaune asked

"The yamato, sir" saito said

"Odd miki are there any other ships in the area" jaune asked

"Only two the andromeda's directly behind the yamato and the ginga which is to port of the andromeda" miki said

"What is this a gathering among friends" jaune asked himself confused

Jaune had gotten to know the captains of both the yamato and the ginga from his time aboard the andromeda and became good friends with both thanks to his own former captain he nodded to saito

"Put it on the main viewer" jaune said and there appeared captain kodai susumu

"Captain susumu" jaune said

"Its good to see you captain arc" kodai said

"I seem to be missing something could you fill me in why the yamato ginga and andromeda are on the same course to meet my ship" jaune asked kodai smiled

"We're your escort your going home" kodai said

"Ok I am even more confused now what did I do to get the reliant recalled" jaune asked

"Sir the andromeda is hailing as is the ginga" saito said

"put them both through" I said

"No one said you did anything wrong help your ship is as you know hailed as the second coming of the yamato the see the reliant as hope you made your ship hope just as captain okita made the yamato hope" Osamu said

"Okay then I ask again why is my ship being recalled I told command the only reward I ask for is keeping my crew together we are family" jaune said

"Oh quit being a baby no one said they were separating you just come to earth and you will understand we don't want to spoil the surprise" captain Saki Todo

"Fine daisuke plot a course let's go home" jaune said

"Yes sir" daisuke said as he did as he was told the trip was long and rather boring but jaune would never complain he loved the peace and tranquility compared to the skirmishes the reliant has had to go through on a common basis upon arriving at earth the entire crew was told to disembark which only made jaune more worried akira who was as usual by his side was able to calm him down with promises that no matter what they would stay together
