Upon arrival he was asked to meet the top brass at headquarters he was kissed goodbye by akira before getting on his way upon arrival he was basically told how exemplary he has done with the reliant and how he and his crew will be remembered before stating how the entire crew would be temporarily reassigned as the reliant is decommissioned and refurbished as a training vessel they would be getting 3 months leave before getting reassignment

Jaune argued against this but all he got was a promise that they would be getting back together soon on a different ship he was fortunately allowed to keep akira with him they would be assigned together the rest of the crew would be scattered about before being told that he was dismissed he walked out of the building to see akira leaning against his bike he wordlessly got on the bike she got on behind him and they drove off

Arriving at his home just outside the city he and his fiance entered he sat down in his tall leather back chair before sighing as tears fell from his face

"What happened" akira asked

"My worst fear we are being separated and reassigned the reliant is being decommissioned and refurbished as a training vessel and her crew will be scattered about we will be getting 3 months leave before getting our new assignments" jaune said she was visibly upset about hearing this

"Didn't you try to fight back" akira asked jaune nodded

"I did but all I got was that it was temporary temporary my ass my ship is literally being transformed into a glorified school" jaune said she understood he was even more unhappy than she was and knowing his past she understood

"I feel so alone my crew was supposed to be my family and they are being ripped away from me as well as my home" jaune said akira grew closer sitting on his lap ship put a finger to his lip

"Sh sh sh sh we may be separated but we will always be family" akira said she loved how similar jaune was to Klaus he liked to call him a human Klaus however she understood he was a different person and still loved him for him and she especially loved how jaune showed more emotion then Klaus and that he was much kinder with his words while still getting the point across Klaus was brutally honest in the wrong ways at times but he was loyal.............mostly

It was at that moment the doorbell was rung

"Akira could you get that" jaune asked he was not mentally capable of meeting anyone at that moment

"Of course" akira said she got up and went to the door to meet kodai, osamu, and saki she exited the house closing the door

"Now is not a good time you three are good friends of his so I will tell you jaune is mentally destroyed" akira said this confused the three

"What happened" saki asked

"The reliant is being decommissioned" akira said it was at that moment they began to understand

"I didn't think they told you they are giving us 3 months leave before temporarily separating the crew we don't have any other details but do I really need to say more" akira asked they shook there heads jaune had also told the three of them of his past in order to fully understand his reasoning for staying on the reliant in space he needed his crew to hold himself together his crew have him something more important to focus on now though

"They said temporarily" saki said

"Their decommissioning the reliant I would blow the andromeda to tiny pieces with me on it before I believed that" osamu said and kodai agreed it did sound unbelievable

"So what is he doing now" saki said

"Trying very hard to bottle up his emotions I think that if he didn't have me he would have already broken down I am what is holding together" akira said as she then looked at the window towards the living room she could see jaunes chair

"But I am happy being his anchor it just shows he loves me as much as I love him" akira said

"I think we will leave him be call us when he is mentally able to see us" kodai said

"Will do" akira said entering the house and going to comfort the man she loved with all her being
