Hey y'all so after actually writing this story to have decided to get to completely change the number count on the arc wave motion gun fleet as well as the flagship so please check that out or you will be confused in the future

Anyway on with the story

<Jaune POV>

My life at beacon has changed significantly I was aceing all of my classes including combat but I still missed my life back on earth I missed my ship I missed my crew and above all else I missed akira she was my everything I lived for her and to know I might not see her ever again put me in depression my team as well as team RWBY tried to get me out but there was nothing they could do

"Mr arc" miss Goodwitch called

"Yes ma'am" I said

"You have been challenged do you accept" miss Goodwitch asked

"Oh yes of course I'm sorry I was just lost in thought I accept the challenge" I called going to the changing room and equipping my armor and weapons and walked out

"Hey jauney boy ready to get your daily beating" cardin said with his usual sneer he remembered how akira called him that when we were spending time together that was something else I regretted we never actually went all the way

"Don't call me that" I said darkly

"What" Cardin asked

"Don't call me jauney boy there is only one person who is allowed to call me that" I said as I rushed him my katana which was a flame in hand as I slashed down at him he just barely Dodged I pulled out my shotgun revolver I named one-shot and blasted him with it at point blank range this dropped his  aura to 30 percent which wasn't quite in the red but close I reholstered one-shot and began swinging with my flaming katana which was called holy avenger a fitting name for someone like me he tried to dodge and parry but I was to fast and as I got hits off I brought his aura down to five percent

"Enough" Goodwitch called and I stepped away from Cardin sheathing my blade

"Winner is quite obviously jaune arc you can tell that was a one-sided battle well done Mr arc you have definitely improved since you have been away keep it up" miss goodwitch said I silently acknowledged her praise with a nod

<Akira POV>

she's done she's finally done after nearly two months of studying they were finally able to make a portal to his dimension and with a new yamato class ship that will be the flagship

The crew is now being briefed on the specks of the vessel which was basically a super enhanced version of the yamato thanks to the wave motion dark matter hybrid core it was learned that the strange energy that is used in the wave motion engine not only reacts well with the dark matter but enhances it exponentially while being completely controllable and because of they were also able to control the dark matter on a small scale so neither the atmosphere nor the crew themselves will be effected however if necessary the dark hybrid core can make the entire crew completely immortal like what happened with harlock and the arcadia speaking of arcadia we also amusingly enough got a mimay type person who was basically the ship itself her name was kimiko and she looked identical to mimay in everyway we are also briefed that this would be the only ship with the hybrid engine and they would be removing all knowledge on creating such an engine making the ship itself unique but the ships name truly made me smile

We were familiarizing ourselves with the ship or at least the ones who haven't been on a yamato class ship before so the majority of the reliant's crew amusingly enough as well as Yullian and kei saki was seated at the captain's station giving orders and preparing for launch

"Don't get comfortable remember who's ship this is" I teased

"Yeah your lover and hopefully mine as well" saki said

"He'll accept you have faith keep in mind who's been with him for nearly six years" I said

"Fair" saki said

"The crew report ready" saito said

"The engine is working like a charm" Yullian said

"Of course" kimiko said

"We have confirmation from HQ the chief sends his personal regards as well as orders to get the captain back" saito said

"Right wave motion dark matter hybrid engine at full power" saki ordered

"Reliant launch" daisuke said as the thrusters activated and the docking clasps were released and the ship began to ascend from the underwater hanger as it cleared the hanger the bridge could see many people on land directly in front of two statues the first is captain okita the second is captain jaune arc both standing side by side and the people were saluting this included chief todo and executive Serizawa as they all watched the ship they put there hopes and dreams on ascend

"The name reliant truly is the second coming of the yamato" todo said as he watched

"What do you expect we named the ship perfectly and gave her to the best captain of ever seen among the UNCF we just have to hope we don't need her in the future" kotetsu said

"Yes we can only hope" heikuro said
