𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗟𝘂𝗰𝗸

𝗗𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀.

New Years special! This is considered cannon, but it's not mentioned much in the main storyline.

[Name] sometimes had dreams. They usually dreamed of extremely random things, however this time... it was a dream they couldn't forget, despite the fact they usually forgot the others.

They only ever had it once, on their seventh birthday. It was a strange dream.

They were like a ghost, floating around and being able to walk through walls. They were stuck in a place that was like the city they lived in, yet the city was in ruins with vines and vegetation growing everywhere.

Up ahead, she saw a small little bunny, hopping all over the place, even jumping on walls and climbing up. The bunny was very agile and fast, and they almost couldn't keep up. [Name] tried to chase after them, but they were too fast.

Then, [Name] saw this weird figure. It was a shadow, and they couldn't see what it was, just that it was humanoid. The only thing it said to them was "Hi! I'm Alice".

Alice was it's [Name], and it reminded them of a story called Alice in Wonderland.

Up above, in the trees was a cat. It looked very cheeky, with a smirk on its face and narrowed cat eyes, watching [Name].  They wanted to pet the cat, but when they reached out, it disappeared, before re-appears behind them.

They went to pet it again, but it just kept on disappearing. Well, that was no fun! It disappeared once again,  it didn't come back, so [Name] just kept walking.

There was another shadow person ahead. He was large, and was surrounded by other, smaller ones. As they approached, the shadow figures moved and parted, making a pathway to the largest one, lined up to his sides with this underlings.

"Welcome to the Beach! I am the Hatter!"

The hatter? Like the mad hatter?

Things were getting confusing, but before [Name] could ask, everyone fled. Multiple figures were up ahead, and this time they could differentiate at least the gender from the figures coming closer.

The one closest was a female, and she stopped in front of [Name].

"I am the Queen if Hearts. Welcome to my domain, the Borderlands!"

[Name] woke up to the sound of the orphanage worked banging on their door, releasing them from their sleep.

"Huh?"

[Name] said, dazed. The footsteps of the orphanage worker were going away, and [Name] blinked realizing it was all a dream. It was definitely a weird dream.

Oh well, no dwelling on it. They got up and started moving along with their day.

One day, they would come back to the Borderlands. One day.
