As all five of us crawled out the cellar, Shibuki told us that what she knew wasn't certain, and it was merely based of of rumours heard from other people.
There were many people in the Borderlands. They all saw fireworks in the sky, like us. These games appear once the sun sets in the night, and can take place anywhere; Factories, schools, offices, any place with space. The venues are lit up, presumably to be easier to find for players.
You ignored most of Shibuki's words, or who told her these words. Screams of terror and pleas of help were heard as you all passed the venues.
Your eyes trailed all over, looking at various run-down buildings and landmarks. There was something about this place that you just couldn't put your finger on. You had a feeling in your gut... it wasn't pleasant, but it wasn't a bad thing either.
A large explosion was heard in the distance, making you jump a little. Shibuki explained that when the time limit was up, that was the game over, and nobody would be left alive.
The smoke that came from the game venue flowed east, where the wind went that day. You couldn't help but wonder, what happens if the buildings collapse because of the explosion, or what would happen if the buildings suddenly caught on fire?
Eventually, the five of you reached a hospital. It would be the best place to stay, because there might be medical equipment that could be used.
Well, you didn't need it because some how, not even a scratch was placed in you. It couldn't be said for the other four, though.
Shibuki and Chota went to help heal their wounds, as Karube decided to scavenge for food. Arisu took a walk, planning clear his mind, leaving you.
You decided to wander around yourself, walking up the stairs to different rooms.
You've seen many horror movies before, and an abandoned hospital like this was a perfect place for a jump-scare, but for some reason this didn't scare you. In fact, none of the abandoned buildings really scared you.
*Groan*
...Okay, take that back. You were scared now.
In the faint edge of the room, in the corner, you saw a hunched figure. Was it another person? He was hunched over, and mumbling something.
You took a step closer, and muttered out a small "hello" to the person, hoping to catch their attention. They stiffened up, before slowly turning around.
