Your feet stopped at the entrance of the venue, walking in. Up ahead, you saw three more people, still young, so maybe in high school?
"Eh? What's a child doing here?"
The black haired one spoke, and the other two turned towards you. You fidgeted in your spot, not liking when attention is on you.
"Uh, do you know where everyone went?"
A look of recognition came on their faces.
"Oh, so you're stuck here too!"
You nodded, but couldn't say more as another woman walked in from the restrooms, complaining about only having one.
She was very pretty, and the other three boys seemingly thought so too. Filthy, hormonal, high school boys did not match well with pretty mature ladies.
"Dammit, are you kidding me!-"
She started off, laying eyes in all of you.
"-I have to get partnered with some high school kids and a elementary one.. Well, I guess it's better than no one."
The chimpanzee-looking one blanked about how a pretty girl came in their dreams and and à look of absolute horror came in her face,
"Wait.. you all.. are first timers! By any chance, did you just come to this country and know absolutely nothing!?"
She asked, pointing at you all. The oldest looking one seemed off-put about this, and rightfully so.
"Yo, Arisu! Chouta! This place is whack! Let's get outta here!"
He begain walking to the entrance, playing to leave.
"You too kid! It's not safe for children to be here without proper adult supervision!"
He began to walk to the entrance, about to walk out before the woman turned around and screamed.
"Don't go any further!"
The man stopped in his tracks, all eyes on the woman now.
"It's... too late... you all are already a part of their game."
Hm. What ominous words. A bang sounded through the space, as lasers bordered up the area, most likely preventing anyone from leaving or entering.
The screen buzzed from behind them, illuminating your face, as you were the closest towards it.
In the screen, you saw your faint reflection of a scrawny kid with blank eyes, but you weren't looking at your reflecting.
No, you were looking at the word "Game" in a strange font sprawled across it.
