I woke up to the sound of plates clattering in the kitchen. That's unusual, I thought, because my mom usually asks me if I want breakfast before getting up and making her own.
I opened my eyes and reached for my phone, but there was nothing where my dresser usually is. That's when I realized I wasn't home.
I panicked. I realized that I had no clue where I was, and I didn't even remember last night. The last thing that I can remember is arriving with Brooke... Brooke leaving?... red haired boy... more drinking... brown haired boy. It was all a complete blur.
I got up, found a mirror, fixed my hair, and listened to see who, if anyone, was in this strange house. I seemed to be in a guys room, judging by the insane amount of flannels and black skinny jeans scattered across the floor, along with a video game system. "Did I sleep with anyone?" I thought to myself. But I think that's something I would definetly remember... so I guess not.
I slowly made my way out of the room. I walked down a long hallway into a kitchen to find a boy with bright red hair eating a large bowl of froot loops. "Hi" he said, smiling from ear to ear. "How did you sleep?" He asked, showing genuine concern, which shocked me. Still confused, I asked "How did I get here... I don't remember anything from last night." The smile disappeared from his face. "Well," he said "I saw you last night, while I was getting drinks, and told my friend how hot you were" he said, blushing with a giggle. "And he agreed, but Ashton likes to have a little too much fun." "What's that supposed to mean" I hesitantly asked, afraid of what I might hear (but also a little flattered that he thought I was hot). "Well.. Nothing happened, but he may have slipped something in your drink," He said nervously. "Oh my god." I said, "are you sure nothing happened. "You're okay now. I promise," he assured me, looking me right in the eyes.
"He called me on the phone and said he had a surprise for me, I honestly had no idea what it was. And when I got there I saw you, vulnerable, (I'll leave out the details though) and I honestly couldn't handle that. I didn't really know what to do, so I forced Ashton to leave and drove you back here where I knew you were safe. You slept for like twelve hours," he laughed to lighten up the mood. "I mean I thought you were hot and all, and don't get me wrong I love parties... but when people take advantage of girls like that I'm out. I find it disgusting." He gave me a half smile.
"I... I better leave" I said, turning to go.
"No, stay" his hand reached out to touch mine. In his other hand he was holding out the box of froot loops, as some kind of peace offering, accompanied with a goofy smile on his face.
"Okay, I decided, smiling back.
"Hey, you never gave me your name, by the way," he said. "Amber Smith," I giggled, feeling sure I could trust him for some reason I couldn't put my finger on. "And you?" I asked.
"Me? I'm Michael Clifford."

they're so cute already I'm emotional
its kind of awful what almost happened to her but she's used to parties and the stuff that can happen, even though she's a little shaken up about it. But Michael got her out of there and left the party for her which is insanely cute so she'll be okay :)
(if u vote, comment, follow, and all that stuff it would be pretty great haha)
