Character 18: Picnic Spot

After what happen to maki and Niku, maki feel flustered for all those days past. Not only that, she's having bad dreams about her parents. And now maki try to hide her sorrows from her friends for so long."What the heck just happen back there!?" Maki said in her room while walking back and forth "I don't know, I wasn't there...well for a moment" Sam said while floating around the place.

"He pull me closer! L-like it was nothing!" She said with a blush "oh please like you don't like it" maki throw a pillow at Sam "why would I like what he did? He a guy!!" She blush and sam laugh "Aiko was right, your a tsundere" maki got mad while sam laughing nonstop in the air.

"Will you cut that out!!" Maki shouted and throw another pillow at her, suddenly a window open. "Hey maki-chi, I heared what happen~" Nozomi said outside the window, she's carrying Hanayo by her broom. "C-can you put me down now?" Hanayo said in fear "what are you doing here Nozomi" maki ask.

"Just 'flying' around" she said and wink "is that so, well you better put your friend down" sam said and carry hanayo to maki's room. "Thank you" she smile and maki spoke "why did you bring hanayo?" She ask "where just finding some place to picnic" hanayo said "oh! I know a place!" Sam shouted in excitedly

"There's a place that everycreature like me goes there!" She said and the rest look at her "it's called Thorn Forest!" She said excitedly "Thorn...forest?" They said while thinking what is looks like.

Sam chuskle as she spoke" Not literally thorns though it's just a name" she said and smile. "Theres a water falls to y'know, swim around" she said and Nozomi spoke "Well I guess is a good place to picnic" Nozomi said as she look at Hanayo and Maki.

"You can come with as Sam, if you want" Hanayo said and she nodded multiple times in excitment that makes Nozomi chuckle "How about you maki, do you wanna come to the picnic?" She smirk at her "your planning something bad aren't you Nozomi?" Maki said and Nozomi shook her shoulders.

"Fine" she sigh and Sam went off to report to aiko, moments later aiko went to maki's room. "I heared you guys going to the picnic, can I come as well?" She ask "of course, Aiko-chi" Nozomi said and smile. She grab hanayo and fly off with her broom.

"Well then since were going to picnic, Sam tell the wolf boys about this" aiko ordered and sam flew off the window but maki stop her by grabbing her leg. "What the- princess?" Sam said and Aiko spoke

"what's wrong maki?" Aiko ask "w-well I was t-thinking that...there busy?" Maki stutter with a blush on her face, she still thinking about niku's place "it's okay with them maki, when it comes to 'fun'" she said and maki sigh in defeat. Sam chuckle as she fly off to them.

Moments later there are in the thorn forest, the girls were amazed by the view. There are faries flying around, beautiful flowers around them and most importantly the hidden lake in the middle of the forest. The boys grab some wood to set a fire, sam use her enternal flames to start a bonfire.

Though after she did that, her sleeves are on fire. Honoka jump to the water and the fishes came in, they made a light a color of honoka's eyes. The girls are amazed yet thrilled and the rest just fake laugh cause that's the sign of fish food.

Maki was sitting under the tree while reading her book, trying to not eye contact to Niku. Nozomi was talking to Eric and Niku when she saw maki sitting there alone.

Nozomi smirk and pointed at Maki. Niku look at her and immediately went to her, Sam saw niku went closer to maki but Eric stop her for ready to hit niku in the head with a bat.

"Hey..maki" Niku said and maki dive in her book more, Niku look at her as he sit beside her. The faries sprinkle them with fairies dust and that caught maki attention. "D-don't mind them maki" Niku said while dusting himself and to maki but she stop him and start reading again, though she keep blushing.

Niku look at the rest and they give him thumbs up and for Sam, maki's personal guard. They tied them up and cover her mouth, Aiko just chuckle about this but she give Niku her support. "Are...you thirsty?" He ask as he bite his finger, by a scent of his blood, maki finally look at niku.

"W-what are you doing?" She said as she try to not look him in the eye cause of his blood. "You..don't have to resist it" he said and his hand move closer to maki. "I-I'm not thirsty, leave me alone" she said and went back to her book trying to resist it. Niku sigh and lay his back to the tree "are you...thinking about what happen?" He ask, and maki stop then look away.

"Listen I-"

"If I drink it, will you stay away from me?" She ask looking down, Niku thought for a minute. Stay away?...I don't want that he thought. He didn't answer and just move his hand closer to her just to drink it which she did.

While maki sucking his blood, her hands are shaking. Niku saw it and he feel sad about it, maybe because doing this makes her remember her parents. After she finish she push niku away from her while wiping her mouth. She grab her book then left the rest are worried about her mostly Aiko and Niku.

Maki sat down and hug her legs as she recall what happen to her back then, she cried secretly as she also recall her parents. "I...I wanna go home" she said while crying in the forest. The faries look sad seing there princess like that so they try to cheer her up by sing and dance.

Maki make a small smile and they wipe her tears. Meanwhile they were playing and talking to each other except Niku who is worried about his 'beloved' maki. "Are you okay niku?" Eric ask while Nozomi is cuddling his arm. "Get a room you two" he said and look away, "I'm being serious Niku" He said and niku look down, looking at his hand with a bite mark.

"I don't know..." He said and start to find maki in the forest. Because he hear her cries for help.
