She peered around the wall connecting to the kitchen towards Sebastian, who was sitting at the dinner table, and fixed her lace day dress, making sure the back wasn’t tucked inside her panties. If it wasn’t for the full mirror in his room, [Name] would’ve walked out with her behind showing…

Sebastian was flipping a page of his case folder when his peripheral vision caught the girl shyly stepping into the room; her flats made quiet steps as she stood an arm’s reach away. He looked up and immediately felt a forced tug at the ends of his lips, his eyebrows jumped, laughing softly.

“Um, do I look okay?” she mumbled behind her hand that shielded her blushing cheeks. ‘Wait, why do I need to know his opinion?’ is what she wondered, yet couldn’t help the curiosity or perhaps it’s a woman’s thing…?

“You… look…” He chuckled, turned himself around on the chair to face her and held out his hand to grab hers. She was busied by their connected hands that she didn’t realize Sebastian stood and gently lifted her arm to begin spinning her around; slowly, she turned so he’d get a full view of her look. Every inch of the dress aligned accordingly to her body shape—no loose ends or tight areas; it’s as if this dress was tailored just for her! Even the chest area fitted to her bust size… oh, whoops. Was he really looking there?

“Perfect. You look stunning, [Name],” he said in awe. “Keep the clothes; you need them anyway, and I’m sure they all will fit beautifully.” She jittered at the squeeze of his insisting hand and nodded, murmuring many ‘thank you’s’. Once he returned to Earth after blankly staring at her, he cleared his throat and beckoned her to sit on the chair across from him. “Please.”

Letting out a nervous giggle, she whispered another “thank you” and ducked her head as she took her seat. Her fingers brushed through her hair, flipping some strands forward to hide the delighted smile that wanted to rip her face apart. Frankly, she hated the way her face wouldn’t cool down from the embarrassment, but she couldn’t help but be super flattered by his compliment. ‘He thinks I’m stunning~!’

“…I don’t know what you prefer,” said Sebastian to wake her out of her happy thoughts. Looking up, she found him holding two plates on each hand, his left held a short can and his right held onto a plate with normal food.

“Huh?”

“Yeah… I don’t know if you, being a werecat, prefer people food or, you know…” Sebastian lowered the can to her first. “Smell. Does it appeal to you even as a human?”

Blinking twice, she leaned in to sniff the can and instantly cringed in disgust; her head shook in disapproval and pushed the can away from her as if it was a disease.

“I guess that’s a no.” Sebastian laughed while she kept on pinching her nose, glaring at the can in his hand.

“What is that?!”

“Pâté canned cat food. Funny, this is the only type you love to eat as a cat,” he pointed out as he set down the plate of ‘normal’ food, which appealed much better to her hunger. “Well at least you calmed my curiosity.”

Grunting at the icky scent in her nose, [Name] watched as Sebastian placed a plastic top shaped to cover the opened can and placed it somewhere in the fridge. Since he didn’t hear any clinking of silverware, he turned to her and realized her hands were still under the table as she stared at him. “You don’t have to wait for me, [Name]. Go ahead and eat.”

For some reason, she shook her head in a frown. “I don’t feel comfortable eating alone when someone in the room isn’t.”

“What?” Sebastian almost dropped the serving spoon and glanced at her in shock. “You too?” And when she nodded, it took him a moment to look away before continuing to fill his plate with food. ‘First the name, then the clothes and now the eating habits?’
