Hanna

A man walks in after I chat with V. He introduces himself as Terry Choi. He says that my body is slowly accepting the medicine and it is helping my organs to adjust in Earths atmosphere. He is worried about my heart. He says that it is enlarged and that I will probably need a transplant. He explains that a transplants can be difficult to find and that his scientist are working on designing me a robotic heart. He said that they will first, try to find me a donor that will work with my body. He believes that my body will reject any human heart though. So he says they will monitor my heart for a while. By the end of the week, I will be allowed to a formula, and will start having my heart and organs monitored.

He says that he wants to test my organs and asks if I am up for it today. I tell him I am, and we go to a different sector of the building.

I am to lay on a table. I lay there and doctors surround me. Those IV'S are put into me again- which hurts, but I get used to them being there.
The doctors explain throughly, on what they are doing.

"We need to make sure that you are breathing and pumping blood in a healthy way" One says.
"And this mask gaves you the freshest air to breathe. During these tests, we'd prefer you unconcious- you would too. So please relax and breathe when we put the mask on. There is a sedative that will help you sleep" Another doctor explains.
The mask goes on. Slowly, but surely, I am relaxed and start to get sleepy.
The room is growing fuzzy and white, when a doctor says:
"Think of happy things, Hanna"
And my last thought, is V.

I open my eyes to see that I am wearing those special glasses. Those glasses darken everything so that my eyes dont hurt. Kendra stands by me.

"How are you feeling?" She asks. I noticed that she looks a little different. Her hair is little longer than before.

"I-I feel weird" I say.

"I feel tired, but strong" I tell her.

I noticed that I am in a much brighter room than before. This room is much larger. But there is still a mirror across from my bed.

There is so many tubes in me! I want to pull them out, but Kendra lectures me on it.

I am so calm. That is freaking me out- that why I feel so weird!

"Why cant I feel anything?" I asked.

"Oh Hanna," Kendra says smiling down at me, "you are sedated. You will be for a while" she says.

"Why?" I asked.

"Didn't Mr. Choi tell you?" She asks now confused.

"No.....?" I asked confused. What is she talking about.

"You were given a heart transplant. The tests so far have been pretty good!" She exclaims.

"What about the rest of my organs? My lungs-" I began to rant, before she cuts me off.

"Are strong and healthy. The medicine really helped!" She exclaims.

"Thats good" I say. I am so groggy!

"Good? Its great" she exclaims.

"Sorry, this is a lot to take it all at once" she says.

"Its fine. How long have I been out" I ask her.

"About three months since me and Nathaniel took a little trip" she answers.

"No, last I remember you guys are gone" I argue with confusion.

"The second day we were gone, you were sent into surgery" She says. The memories come flooding back.

"Mr. Choi said I was get to tests run on me" I tell her.

"I know, he said that. Remeber all those tests the first two days? Those were all the tests we needed. He lied so you wouldn't panic over the surgery and cause any harm upon yourself" Kendra explains and I nod.

"So I've been on Earth for almost three months?" I exclaimed.

"Yes, three months Hanna" she answers.

"I slept a long time!" I exclaim.

"Yes, we had to make sure your heart adjusted to your body with a little disturbances as possible" Kendra says.

"It feels strong" I say.

"It was much stronger than your old one" Kendra says.

And then, I remember V. He visited me in my dreams! It was the most amazing set of dreams that I ever had.

"Now Hanna, you have to take a special medicines to help your body. Formula to keep your organs strong, calcium tablets for your bones, another formula and set of tablets for your heart" Kendra explains while showing me.
She and the doctors will be making sure I get the right amounts of everything.

"Kendra..... Why did you and Nathaniel go on a trip?" I ask.

"Its a surprise, you'll see" Kendra says with a smile.
She soon leaves me.
A couple of doctors come in and take me down to a 'Physical Theraphy.'
I enjoy the 'Physical Theraphy.'
It is much more fun than sitting in a hospital bed alone. I am not the only human in the room. There are a couple of other's here.
I turn to the nurse who's with me.

"Whats your favorite thing about Earth?" I ask him.

"I would say my job. I love taking to my patients and hearing their stories. How about you, little girl?" The nurse asks.

"Little girl? I am already 23" I say with a confusion.

"It is just a reference that I used with most people" He says with a chuckle.

"Reference?" I ask him with slight confusion. Everything back in East Texas was very formal and technological. Especially names. You never had a reference for anyone- just their name.

"Yeah. Like I'd call my buddy over there, pint- sized. Because he is very small: pint-sized" my nurse tell me while esturing to the other nurse. The nurse pokes fun on him and then they continue their work.

I have a physical theraphy for the next four months. It keeps me busy, and busy keeps me away from the thoughts not hearing from V. Well, I wouldn't know if V was texting me, I haven't had time or to access any of computers, I really miss him though. I wonder if he misses me. I just want to see him smile and hear his wonderful voice.
