(A/N Yes, I did come up with(I think) original Watchers. Ha. I'm bad at this. Enjoy. Oh yeah, new warning: slight cursing/foul language. Not a lot. But some. Okay, thanks.)
Grian's steps echoed in the vast void. It was often quiet when you were alone. With the end stone making up most, if not ALL, of the islands, There was never really anything new to explore.
Grian did miss the over-world. I mean, who wouldn't miss their friends after nearly a year of not seeing them?
Grian continued walking until he reached the ledge. With a quick launch and a few flaps from his wings(and some Watcher magic to make sure he wouldn't fall into the void). The Watchers had needed to see him. They claimed it was nothing bad. Grian smiled because he knew he would get to hang out.
As he landed after about two more islands, the stone made a loud echo as he landed, and more echoes as he walks. The tall Chrorus fruit stalks towered over the small man. It gave off a strange sound and subtle purple particles going off of it. He flew up to the top of the stalk and grabbed three of the fruits. He noticed a small glow coming from about 8 kilometers away in the corner of his eye.
'That's where they are! alright then!'
He ran to the other Watchers(He used his legs for some reason. Don't ask). He raised his hand and waved as he ran.
"Hello! What did you need?"
Xavius(Watcher 1) sighed. "We just...need to do something. We wanna say sorry..."
Xayden, Xander, Xena, and Xochitl(other random Watchers) nod slowly, tears nearly forming in their eyes.
Xenia(Watcher 2) smiled. "We know this will be the best, we promise." She pulls him in and hugs in a way similar to a mother saying good-bye to their kid before college.
She steps back and touches her palm to his forehead. He falls back but is caught by some protection spell or something. They open a rift of sorts and carefully get him down to a new server. With no memory of his past. All he is, is Grian. A man who does remember things that happened before and during high school, but nothing after, up until now.
He noticed the whooshing and nearly screeching sound of the portal that had appeared behind him without his knowledge. Before the portal became apparent, Grian's memory hadn't been wiped yet. He heard the voice of one of his fellow Watchers. "You're on the other side of the spectrum now! You won't have wings, hopefully ever again. I just hope you'll have fun. With your complete new life. No memories of from Evo till now. Have fun, Grian. Or Xelqua for one last time."
The voice stopped and Grian's mind went blank for a few seconds. He couldn't remember how or why he was here once the fog in his mind cleared up.
The hermits stepped out of the portal and were startled by the new Hermit. X stepped towards him. "Who are you? I don't remember a new player..."
Grian nearly began shaking out of fear because of all the new, untrustworthy people. "You can stay. We're not dangerous. We just like to play pranks on eachother. That's about as 'extreme' as we get."
Grian's eyes lit up. "Friends? Pranks?! I already fricking love this place!" Grian shouted out. A few people chuckled at the man in the red sweater.
"Come on, Scar and Mumbo can help you start out. The jungle is where they both wanted to start out. How is that?" X asked.
Grian smiled a biiiiiiiig smile and nodded quickly.
"It's settled then. Go on everyone! Have fun! Go ahead, um, what's your name?"
"Grian."
"Go ahead, Grian."
(610 words~ Sorry for the short first chapter. I just had to try my best. I hope you enjoyed and will enjoy as the story progresses. Good-bye!! I'm so fucking tired. I need help. Okay, bye bye!! I read this thing over three times.)
