The ship had stopped smoking a few hours ago now, but Y/N remained determined to know why they were so drawn to the wreckage in the first place, the ship was looming over them now, the suns were shining through the skeleton of the ship, leaving what Y/N could only describe as the image of beautiful destruction. The sunlight bouncing off the remains at different angles, yet nothing seemed to be shining, more like a dull reflection.

Y/N smiled, as they collapsed in the little shade the ship offered, they had made it. Drinking the last of their water, looking over the town they had spent so much of their life in, it had never looked so small. Y/N sat enveloped in their own thoughts, head in the clouds, not even aware of their surroundings.

Obi-wan and Anakin had stripped the ship of anything valuable before the suns had even reached the horizons. They set the ship alight afterward, trying to keep any long term attention. The fewer people wanted to be near it the less chance of them being found while they were still vulnerable. Anakin and Obi-wan had returned to the cave just after both suns had finished arriving above the skyline. They sat in the cave eating breakfast when they both felt it. The force, a jolt of panic followed by frustration before the feeling was lost. That put them both on edge. It wasn't until Obi-wan had noticed the figure approaching closer to the ship that he began to ponder where this spike in the force had come from.  Theories spun around in his head, he shook them off, this was probably just a very curious child, that will eventually get tired and return home. He walked back to the cave, looking over Padme and Anakin. Obi-wan stood, the uneasiness not going away, the future was uncertain and with the Jedi order no longer around, everything Obi-wan knew and relied on was uncertian. Obi-wan had to admit he was scared of what was coming.
It wasn't until hours later that Obi-wan called Anakin over, noticing that the young person had arrived at the ship. Anakin looked on shocked that someone in this heat could manage a journey like that. They grabbed their lightsabers and began to investigate who this was, and why they were so determined to be nosey where it wasn't wanted.

Y/N still felt the heat despite being sat in the shade. The sand was cool, but you couldn't escape the humidity. They had finished the water long ago and was already wanting more. That's when they felt it. Two people approaching from behind. The hairs on the back of their neck stood up, they slowly went into their bag to retrieve anything that might help defend themselves. They rolled out of the shade and stood up to face the attackers. Two men stood there, Y/N recognized the lightsabers almost immediately. Y/N tried to hide the awe of seeing two Jedi with shock, but she knew it wasn't working.
They stood there, lightsabers still ready to be used, not trusting Y/N even slightly, normal people across the galaxy could never react that fast, especially when they had been creeping up behind them. Obi-wan sighed, his theories had been correct. Y/N face was red, panting heavily with fear, confusion, and admiration plastered across her face.

"Who the hell are you?" Anakin demanded, any Jedi protocol out of the window, Obi-wan looked on despair shooting through his heart, Anakin was destined for the dark side, Obi-wan knew he could never have made it as a true Jedi. Y/N brought him out of his thoughts, their voice breaking from the dryness, the warmth of the planet finally taking its true toll on them.
"The ship, it called to me, like it had the answers to my dreams, I was wrong. You're the answer aren't you?" They looked to Obi-wan asking the question, practically begging to put the lightsabers down, to let them into the shade. Obi-wan knew what they meant. He sighed in defeat, he withdrew his lightsaber, Anakin following, concern and paranoia still very present. He might have withdrawn his saber but he wasn't taking it out of his hand for a second.
"With all due respect but Obi-wan, can we really trust them? I am not risking our lives for one... child!"
"I am 18, thank you very much! Hardly a child!" Y/N scoffed, they got this all the time with such a skinny and small frame, but they were not about to be disrespected just because he was a Jedi. Obi-wan smirked, clearly hearing the sassy thoughts running through Y/N's head.

"Let us get out of the sun, and we can discuss these dreams." Obi-wan began walking away, Anakin remaining where he was, he motioned his head letting Y/N go first still wanting the advantage in case they tried to do anything stupid. Y/N sighed not understanding the mistrust and set off trying desperately to keep up with Obi-wan's large strides. They led Y/N to the cave entrance and nerves began to rise as they realized that maybe following two Jedi blindly wasn't such a good idea with order 66 still in place.
"You'll be safe, as long as you don't try anything" Anakin spat, failing to hide his protectiveness, he wasn't going to risk his children for a force-sensitive-

"Anakin, everything will be fine, I'm sure that... What is your name?"

You responded with your full name, it sounding weird in this new setting.

"I am sure that Y/N will have no intention of harming anyone. In fact, I am sure she and Padme will get along just fine. Not the only girl I am afraid." Obi-wan joked turning around to face Y/N a relaxed smile forming before his eyes shifted to Anakin dropping his face that clearly read to trust him and to stop being paranoid.

They reached the mouth of the cave and Y/N collapsed into the cool shade, exhaustion over-powering her ability to stay strong. Obi-wan was immediately crouching in front of her, looking them over, his cool hand made contact with her burning forehead and he sighed, she was suffering from heat exhaustion, they would have to wait until she recovered before they could get any answers.

The last thing Y/N remembered was Obi-wans cool hands on her telling her to try to stay awake as the darkness claimed her taking away the fire in her lungs and the coarse dryness scratching her throat.

The peacefulness was a welcome change, as the world fell black Y/N hoped she would dream no more now they were with the Jedi.
