Y/n P.O.V

My feet tapped against the flagstone, impatiently waiting for class to be over. I fidgeted with my red hair twirling it with my fingers. Creating wavy coils. My father stood at the front of the class, his voice was set in a boring tone. He peered at the clock and sighed.

"Class...dismissed," He drawled.

Immediately, I stood. Grasping my satchel, and slipping out of the door. I snuck away from the exiting group and tiptoed down the left corridor. I smirked, as I continued. An extra pip in my step as I walked. But my mood was halted when I had run into Harry. I fell onto my bottom, my satchel landing a few feet away from me.

"Merlin, Y/n. I'm so sorry, I didn't see you there" Harry quickly apologized and helped me back onto my feet.

"It's alright neither was I" I replied, "Nice seeing you" I waved quickly as I tried to go around him. He caught my wrist and turned me around.

"Where are you going?" He asked.

"Um- Just to meet with a friend, is all" I lied, fiddling with my fingers, "Why?"

"Don't you remember? You were going to study with me, Hermione, and Ron in the library" Harry replied.

Fuck

"Y-yes, right. um, it'll be quick" I smiled, "I'll be there shortly"

"Of course" Harry let go of my wrist.

"See you" I rushed out and then continued my path down the corridor. I peered back over my shoulder, seeing that Harry was gone, I sprinted to the door that led to the Quidditch pitch and ran up the flight of wooden steps. There was a blonde-haired boy hunched over the railing, pride and all in his stance

Carefully, I tiptoed over. Tapping them on the shoulder.

"Hello, Mcglaggen" I smiled. He eyed me up, and down. Looking a bit longer at my legs, then my face.

"Y/n" He smirked, "Are you still up for that date?" He asked slowly.

I smiled, taking a step forward, "If I wasn't I wouldn't be standing here" I countered.

Another attractive smirk tugged at his lips. Mcglaggen was cute, I'll admit that. But he wasn't my type. This was simply payback to get his girlfriend back. Padma Patil. Somehow I knew getting her back wasn't his entire intention. He wanted me. He wanted to have the honor of saying he got to have this. Fortunately, I was smarter than his ass thought.

Padma was currently in the stands across from us, watching the Gryffindor's practice. A hobby, I guessed.

Without warning, Mclaggen swooped down and connected his lips with mine. He was a terrible kisser. Just downright terrible. Sloppy, no sync, no nothing. Just bland, and tasteless.

"Y/n is that you??" Ron's voice boomed from down in the Quidditch arena.

I cursed, pulling away from Mclaggen. "I'll see you". And I was off, bolting down the steps, and sprinting for the Castle. Casually I walked to the Library. Only minutes after sitting down did Ron burst into the room.

"Hello, Ron" I waved.

"Y/n..." He acknowledged. A look of suspicion flashing across his face.

"Shall we get started" I turned toward my friends, they nodded.
