Draco's P.O.V

The battle has ended. Voldemort is gone, dead. Relief flooded my veins. But was soon replaced with worry, and regret. As I realized I hadn't seen Y/n since it all came crashing down. What if she's hurt? Or worse dead?

She was my life, my everything. She's helped me through these past months, she helped me find the light when I was in the darkest place of my life. I couldn't live without her.

I ran through the entrance hall, and barged my way into the Great hall where dead bodies, and injured people resided. I passed the Weasleys who wept over their dead brother, and son. A feeling of remorse washed over me, and I felt myself apologize for every wrong thing I ever did to them. I only wished it was over different circumstances.

I moved on past, and continued my search for Y/n. But my intentions were interrupted by a voice calling me name. Immediately I turned around. I in the far distance I saw Potter waving his hand his face written with worry, and urgency.

I debated on going over to him, and lent for continuing my search. But I stopped when I heard him say: "it's Y/n".

My legs automatically ran to the entrance, I followed Potter down the corridor, and I stopped when I saw a group of people surrounding another.

It was Y/n and she was barely alive. I knelt down beside her in an instant, and held her.
"Draco...?" She whispered in a hoarse, and tired voice.
"I'm here, I'm here" I replied. Tears fell down my cheeks.
"I love you" Y/n said holding onto me. Her tears soaked my shirt. "P-promise me you'll fall in love again, and be happy" she choked out. "F-for me?"
"Don't leave..." I said, "please, don't leave me...I need you" I sobbed.
"I'm sorry..." she whispered . Her body felt limp, but I couldn't find the strength to let go. So I held onto her crying. Just wishing she'd breath again.

But she never did...

I'm so sorry this was so sad! 😢🥺 and short!
