Preparations And Decoratioms

The Christmas week came soon. Malfoy houshold was currently a full house. The twins came together a couple of days after Bradley and Rosalie came back from Hogwarts. As a traditional New Year's party was coming up soon after Christmas and according to the mistress of the house everything had to be perfect, the decorations were already put up.
"Cameron, T. J.! Where are my dahlias? Bri, where are the dresses for the evening?" the mistress of the house was shouting orders.
"The dresses are in your and dad's room. Angie has the New Year's gowns at the Zabini manor. She said she'll bring them in time. Don't worey mum, today is only Christmas eve." Brianna said to her mother as she passed her standing in the middle of the living room and gave her a soft kiss on the cheek.
" I'm not worried about you girls. The two most brilliant designers in Europe and I would even dare to say world."
"Mum, have you seen my papers? I know I left them in here somewhere."
"Lyria dear, they are in the kitchen. I had to move them somewhere where the boys don't have access to."
"Thanks mum"
"Mummy, where are my dragon toys?"
"Bradley, honey, now is not a time for playing. You'll get them after the dinner. Now, be a good boy and find your father."
"Mum, I've put the dahlias in the dinning room."
"Merlin Cameron, I've told you to put them in the living room. The christmas stars go in the dinning room."
"The what now?"
"The christmas stars. You know, those red flowers in the shape of a star?"
"Right. I'm on it."
"Mummy, daddy is not home."
"Where is that man when you need him? Right, thank you honey. Be a dear and find Rosalie. Tell her I need her and Ditty to prepare the garden for the party."
"The garden? Wouldn't it be cold?"
"No, T. J. Haven't you noticed how warm outside it is? And besides are we not wizards? There are spells for that. Go with Bradley and Rosalie and put the lights up. And please don't mix the blue ones with the yellow ones. And under no circumstances do I want to see the colourful ones. Those just don't go together with my decorations. "
At that moment, two people apparated in the manor.
" Where have you been? No note, no message? "
" Sorry dear, work called. "
" On the christmas eve? "
" Sorry Hermione, but the customers don't actually care of it is christmas eve or not. "
" Blaise, I think it is best for you to zip it right now, mate." Draco said to his best friend who was clearly geting on Hermione's nerves.
"Draco, honey, I need you to get the drinks for tonight. In fact, Blaise you could do this."
"Why me?"
"Because I said so. And if you want to get fed tonight you better get going."
"Merlin Hermione, you are worse than my wife."
"Don't make me call Pansy Blaise"
"On it boss lady ." And with that Blaise apparated away.
"Draco, go pick up my parents. They know you and trust you. I don't trust Blaise with apparating them."
"Sure, honey." He kissed her cheek and apparated away.
Finally everything was ready for the Christmas eve dinner to begin. Andromeda came as well. They were all sitting around the big dinning room table. The Zabins, the Malfoys, the Grangers and Andromeda.
Everything went smoothly and after the guests have left, the 8 Malfoys left sitting in their garden under the stars surrounded by the lights that T. J. had previously after 3 times finally put up as Hermione had wished.
"To cut the chase, I'm going straight to the point of this." Hermione started. "Lyria and I were planning a family reunion. We were wandering how your plans look for April? The spring break?"
"Me and Angie have a fashion show in the States the whole month. We are showing are newest collection that is in development right now."
"Will you have at least a week free?"
"I'm not sure. The trip itinerary says we have shows in Vegas, L.A. NYC, Chicago and D. C. I could get earlier and live Angie to handle the rest. But witch week is that exactly?"
"15th to 29th April."
"We have shows in New York from 12th to 17th and have to be in D. C. on 21st. I suppose I could leave Angie alone for a couple of days."
"Well we were hoping the Zabini clan would join us the second week."
"Oh she will be able to, trust me. D. C. is our last show. It lasts only 2 days. She will be back the 23rd."
"Perfect, how about you Cam?"
"Dad knows my plans the best. I was hoping to get you all at the States. I have something important to Tell all of you."
"Bro, we know. You'll propose to Amber."
"How did you know T. J.?"
"I think everyone except her knows that Cam" Bri told her twin.
"Cam and I have negotiations with some investors in Miami that first  week. So we could do it there." Draco said.
"Perfect, so that's settled."
"Wait, mum, what about me? You haven't asked me yet."
"Sorry, dear. I assumed you were free. I mean you study here in the UK. You have a short break like Rosie and Brad."
"I do. But what if I planned something with my friend?"
"Albus is going that week with his family to the burrow. Like every year."
"Why do you think Albus is my only friend?"
"T. J. That is no way to talk to your mother." Draco said calmly, but his eyes showed anger rising.
"T. J. I know you have other friend, but Albus is your closest. If you had any plans it would be with him. I know you my boy. I'm your mother after all."
"Sorry mum. I don't have plans."
"Great. It will be great. I love our Christmas gatherings, but this will be 100 times better", Lyria said excitedly.
