A Day Just For The Two Of Us

The next morning came and Hermione was still sleeping. When she turned around to face her husband, she saw that bedside empty. Instead, there was a note saying:
'Morning beautiful! I had to go to a meeting. I don' t know when it will be finished. Cam is with me. I invited someone to come earlier to the hotel to keep you company. Love you, Draco'
She smilled at the note and went to take a shower. When she finished and went to get dressed, she heard someone knocking on the door.
"Who is it?"
"It's me mum" she heard a familiar voice from the other side of her bedroom door. "May I come In? I knocked this time not to repeat my past mistake and see something I can't unsee later" She smilled at that comment.
"Just a second dear" she took her wand and waved it to get dressed faster. "Alright"
"Hi, mum" a familiar 21-year-old came into his parents' bedroom. Dad called me to keep you company since he and Cam will be with their noses in work for some time"
"It's nice to see you T. J. How's school? You haven't owled me for quite some time now"
"It's all good. I was just busy with my girl friend"
"A girl friend, huh? Why didn't you tell me you had a girlfriend? Is it that Lilith you liked?"
"Yes. I asked her out after I came back from holidays. We are official for 3 months now"
"Congrats son" she hugged him.
"So, any wishes in particular for today?"
"You tell me"
"Mum are you feeling alright? You never let me pick where we're going."
"I thought it would be a good change. Besides you came early to keep your mother company"
"I was thinking we could go to the movies. Like we used to when I was little and Rosie was still to young to come with."
"You always liked going with me to the muggle events" she said as she remembered.
"Maybe after a movie, we could go to the Universal Studios and check out that wizard section based on your books"
"Hm... should I go then as Mrs Rowling?"
"No, then you'll be overflown with fabs wanting authographs. You know, you never told me why you decided to write about wizards and reveal it to the muggles"
"I'll tell you once we're there. Now let's got to the movies. I heard they have some great acrion movies"
"Action movies, mum? Weren't you all history, rom-coms and documentaries?"
"War does that to you. I'm getting bored every day. I sometimes miss that adrenaline feeling in your veins and that drive for action."
"My mother ladies and gentlemen"
They watched the new Gerard Butler movie Angel Has Fallen. When they were done, they apparated to the Univeral Studios. People knew who they were since Hermione was married to the Draco Malfoy and T. J. was brother of Brianna Malfoy, co founder of Briangelic fashions, but they didn't disturb them.
Hermione and T. J. headed straight to the Harry Potter section of the theme park. They got to the muggle interpretation of the real platform 9 and 3/4.
"Wow, this is almost like the real Hogwarts express" T. J. commemted.
"I write in great detail. Now let's go in"
They sat in a compartment, when the special effects started.
"So, mum, why write about our world in such detail?"
"Before I came together with your father, I was with Ron who wasn't like your father. He was angry all the time still feeling everything from the war. I couldnt' help him and I noticed he started avoiding me. That's why he started cheeting on me. I still felt some traumas after the war and I had to get it out of myself. I figured why not write about it. I knew muggles are to oblivious about everything That's going on around them and I wrote my autobiography as a children's book from Harry's point of view. That's why in the end you and your siblings don't exist and why I end up married to Ron. Because I was engaged to him at the time"
"I'm just glad you left him and found dad. You two are perfect together"
"I bet you and Lilith also make a cute couple"
"Well, I was meaning to talk to you about her. That's also a reason, why I came early"
"What's wrong baby?"
"Nothing's wrong. I just think I love her and I wanted her too meet you, mum"
"When we get home, invited her to dinner at the manor. You know you're always welcome. It is so lonely sometimes without you kids"
"That's the thing, mum. I invited her here. Her and her mother."
"You did what? I told you this was family only"
"But mum, what if I want her to be my family?"
"Dear, you're still young. Don't lose your young years like I did. I love your father with all my heart as Well as all of you kids. But sometimes I just wish I had a chance to explore more"
"But you've seen most of the world with dad, as a reporter and muggles writter"
"I wasn't talking about that kind of exploring. I was a stuck up girl who never partied. I wanted to party the right way, be with boys for one night stands, you know?"
"I wasn't going to propose to her mum. I just wanted for you to meet her and her mother. Again since you know her from Hogwarts. Your opinion means the most to me."
"Oh, honey. Come here" and she hugged him tight. "Just tell the girl not to be worried when she isn't the centre of your attention since you are here to hang out with us" she laughed and he hugged her even tighter.
"Mum?"
"Yes,honey?"
"Why did we stop hanging out like this?"
"I don't know baby. That's one of some questions I don't know the answer to."
"Can we start hanging out more often again?"
"Of course we can. Just tell me the day and I'll be at your apartment in a second. But this mustn't affect your grades, understood?"
"Clear as day" he said and kissed her cheek.
They spent the entire day together and when they came back it was already time for dinner. They went straight to the hotel restaurant where the dinner was already served.
"I take it was a pleasant surprise?" Draco said from his seat when they came to sit at the table.
"The best" Hermione said and pecked her husband on the cheek.
"I'll leave you two be" T. J. started getring up when his parents stopped him.
"No, sit down. We are here together and we'll eat together" Hermione ordered her son. T. J. smilled at his parents. He was happy to be spending time with them, especially his mother. He missed her the most. He knew he was still a momma's boy, but he liked that title.
