Addie,
As I'm sure you know, O.W.L. results finally came in. As much as I hate talking about anything to do school, I'm only bringing this up to prove a point. I will be happily waiting on your response with Cecilia where you confirm that I am (always) right and you have only "O"s because you're just that brilliant.
Things aren't so great at the Burrow. Mum isn't happy with me and Fred to say the least. Claims "we're not living up to our potential" and need to "stop messing around." I think it's a compliment, but she's been yelling so much it's starting to sound like an insult. I know she wants us to do well after Hogwarts and Mum just wants what's best for us, but what's best for us isn't Ministry jobs. Freddie and I have got big plans for after Hogwarts. Plans that don't involve us working stuffy jobs at the Ministry.
I'm finally almost to the end of Pride and Prejudice. You probably think I hate the book because of how slow I've been reading it, but it's actually, and I can't believe I'm actually saying this, really good. It also made a lot more sense after you answered all my questions about the Muggle world. Although you could've shortened it down a little bit. Eleven pages seems a little excessive, don't you think? You've been hanging out too much with Hermione.
It's just that I've been trying to read it while Fred's asleep, because Merlin knows he'd make fun of me endlessly if he saw me reading it. Not to say that your book is embarrassing. I've just never been the type to read books like Pride and Prejudice.
Also, I thought you said Mr. Darcy was the prat of the story, but Mr. Wickham seems so much worse. Why didn't you tell warn me about him? I demand answers, Addie.

Adeline,
GET PACKING!
Dad managed to score five crazy good seats for the Quidditch World Cup next Monday night, and he's letting me take the whole group! We'll all stay at my place for the last two weeks of summer and my parents will take us to the Hogwarts Express on September 1st.
Of course, that's if your parents let you. Dad said it's best to ask your parents first, but I feel like you don't really care what they say anyways.
Send your answer as soon as possible back with Orion! Mum said she'll come with me Saturday night at 5pm to pick you up by Floo powder even if your parents say no. Please tell me you can come! It'll be the best two weeks EVER.
– Estelle

George,
Mr. Wickham is much worse that Mr. Darcy! I just didn't want to spoil the book for you. And Mr. Darcy becoming a much better person as he falls in love with Lizzie is the whole point of the story. I'm not going to give away all the plot details before you read it. That just ruins it when you read it for the first time.
Also, eleven pages isn't excessive in the slightest. You forget I'm in Ravenclaw, George.
I'm really sorry about your Mum. It seems like you guys have very different ideas about what's "best" for you and Fred. I'm surprised yet not if that makes sense? You're one of the best wizards I've ever met, but school has never really seemed like your thing.
Also, what are these "big plans" you and Fred have? Makes me a little worried about what the next few years of Hogwarts are going to have in store.
By the way, I didn't get all "O"s like you thought. O.W.L. results really don't mean anything as long as you got the passing grades for the subjects that'll help you with your future career. So as long as you're happy with your results and they help you with what you want to do, it shouldn't really matter right? I know this probably means nothing coming from he, but whatever you have in store (no matter how many headaches it'll inevitably give Professor McGonagall) is probably amazing.
Also, this may unfortunately be the last letter from me this summer. I'm going to Estelle's and the four of us (Me, Estelle, Ophelia, and Melanie) are going to the Quidditch World Cup then spending the rest of the holidays at her house! I hope I see you at the World Cup, but if not, I'll see you September 1st!

Estelle,
No need for breaking me out of the house! My parents said yes! Well, they didn't say anything. They just nodded silently, so I'm going to take that as them giving me permission. I think they're just thankful to get me out of the house two weeks early. They really don't know what I'm going to anyways. Explaining Quidditch to them might just be another way for me to get yelled at. It was strange though. My sister Emily hear me asking my parents, and she asked me about Quidditch when I was going back to my bedroom. She's rarely asked me about anything in the wizarding world for years. She looked confused, but she called it interesting. I don't know what to think.
I'll be by the fireplace 5pm Saturday night! I've never seen a professional Quidditch game before, and I'm so excited to see you guys a few weeks earlier than planned! I'll do it again when I get there, but thank your parents for me!
– Adeline
