Madison and Mark were settling at their home at the rebuilt Boston, busy setting up their furniture, feels nice to get away for a while, after all it would seem that most evil Titans are in hiding.
Mark: *whistles to himself setting up his home computer desk and hears the doorbell* Maddie, could you get that for me?
Madison: sure thing, dad! *lowers boxes she was carrying and heads to the front door* who is it?
Mark was humming as he finished up the desk, placing equipment and then a picture of his family on the desk smiling.
Mark: *hears Madison scream* Maddie!? *Runs* what's the matter!!?
Mark dashed to the living room to find Madison standing there almost frozen shocked, he turned to the open front door to see who it was that spooked her, his jaw dropped when he saw him.
Alan: good afternoon, Mr Russell.
Mark: Jonah!? What the hell are you doing here!? *Pulls Madison away*
Jonah simply walked into the house, smirking
Alan: don't worry, I'm not here to start anything rough, just came to simply send a message.
Madison: and what would that be, sick old man!?
Alan: I am now chief of Apex's military branch.
Mark: Apex? The Anti-Titan corporation?
Alan: yes *picks up a photo of the family* shame Emma is gone, she would have been so happy to see you both getting along.
Mark: why would Nelson sign a former British army colonel turned eco-terrorist? Especially one that wants humans dead, not Titans dead?
Alan: you catch on quick, Mr Russell. My men and I didn't join Apex because of the money, we joined them because they've got access to things we needed for our work. And also, we have something that they need.
Madison: and that is?
Jonah walked to the door
Jonah: a magician never reveals his secrets, goodbye. *Leaves the house*
Madison: creep...I hoped to never see him again...
Mark: Jonah and Apex...a foul mix..
