A young MATTHEW is sitting in a park listening to some trance music, when suddenly a dark shadow casts over him.
He looks up and sees JESSICA. He takes off his headphones.
JESSICA
Would you like some wine gums?
MATTHEW's eyes light up, but then he studies JESSICA more closely, and looks uneasy.
MATTHEW
I don't know, you look kind of forgetful.
JESSICA
Me? No. I'm not forgetful. I'm the least forgetful thug in the world.
MATTHEW
Wait, you're a thug?
MATTHEW runs away, screaming.
EXT. ST MICHAEL'S MOUNT, CORNWALL - PRESENT DAY
JESSICA
You were a coward then, and you are a coward now.
STEVE
(To MATTHEW) You ran away?
MATTHEW
(To STEVE) I was a young child. What was I supposed to do?
MATTHEW turns to JESSICA.
