RING! RING! RING!

My alarm goes off as I realize what today is. IT'S MY FIRST DAY! I quickly shower and put on my khaki as I pull my amethyst hair into a pony tail and do some quick "normal" makeup. Just a brown eye shadow and pink lipstick.

Sliding down the stairs, I grab a cup of coffee and a news paper. A cough comes from behind the paper. There stands Mara with a plate of waffles. "M, you didn't have too!" "Of course I did! Don't want an alligator eating you." I laugh and eat with the blond. "I'm not working with them. I'm with the hospital." I explain to her. We laugh and chat for an hour before I get in my car and go to work at the zoo.

Arriving to the animal hospital, I check in the front desk. Behind the desk sits Wes, the Irwin's best friend. "G'day love how can I help you?" he says smiling. "My name is Alice Rose. I'm the new hospital assistant from New York." "Ah,Miss Alice! Welcome! Here's your name tag and scheduled. Dr. Brett is in the first door to the left." Wes says giving me my tag with my usual makeup on it. It was taken through Skype my last day in New York. I walk to the door and open it to see a man chasing a baby capybara. I kneel down and the little rodent runs over to me. "You must be Alice!" Brett says taking the baby from me.

After about 4 hours of work,I'm sitting filling out paper work when I hear to voices outside the door.

"Oh dear! He's getting away" a girl is saying

"Hush, you're gonna startle him!" a boy replies

Under the door, comes a big snake. Of course, I do the most resonable reaction anyone would do.

"AHHHHHHHHHH!"

Wes and a boy my age come running in and place the snake in a bag. I, standing the table, ask if it's gone and the boy laughed at me. I look and notice the boy..... is Robert Irwin. "Here, let me help love." Robert says lifting me off the table. He carries me bridal style and we look into each others eyes. I swear I saw fireworks. He puts me down and Dr.Brett walks in carrying mine and his lunch. "Well,uh, I'll bring Leo back to his enclosure." Robert says grabbing the bag with the snake in it." "I'm Alice by the way!" I yell as he walks out. "I know." Robert says winking at me

It's about 12 when I get home and Mara is waiting watching a movie. "How was it? Did you meet Robert?"

"It was busy. Yes I met Robert, and I almost got eaten by a snake named Leo and he saved me." I explain to her.

"What?! Explain more."

"Ok, so basically I was doing paper work and a big snake came through the door. I screamed, and Wes and Robert came through the door and grabbed it. I got grabbed off the table by Robert, and then he left." I say taking off my makeup. "Now, I gotta get up early tomorrow morning. Good night Mara!" I yell walking to my room.

I change into pajamas and lay in bed on my phone. On twitter, I see a tweet from Robert.
