"MY BABY HOMEEEEE", my mom screams, hugging me.

"Heyyyy momma."

Tears form in my eyes as I take this moment in. I haven't seen my momma in person in a long time. To see her now makes me so happy.

"Come on in", she says grabbing my bag.

I nod and walk in behind her into the house. The smell of greens fill the room.

"Hold up momma. Not you cooking the greens."

"You know I had to do it for the one time."

"It smells too good."

"Mhmm. How you been though baby? How was Chicago?"

"I'm doing ok. I don't even want to talk about Chicago. I'm so sick of Mack and Kaine."

"Who is Kaine?"

"His brother."

"BROTHER?! I thought Mack was the only child."

"His momma had an affair with somebody else and ended up getting pregnant. Long story short, she gave the baby up....and yeah."

"Damn. Does Mack know?"

"He just found out a couple days ago."

"Damn that's tough. Why did y'all get into it?"

"Because Mack thought that Kaine and I were having sex."

"Hold up. How did you and Kaine meet in the first place?"

"It's a long story and I honestly regret meeting that man."

"Don't say that....I know you like him."

"M-

"Don't even lie to me. I know when you like somebody."

"Alright momma. I like Kaine but we did NOT have sex. He told Mack we did to make him jealous because I guess Mack has feelings for me. I'm not really sure because he just found out his girlfriend cheated on him with Kaine."

"Wheww chileeee she ain't shit."

"Don't even get me started on that bitch. Anyway, so Mack and Kaine got into this big ass fight and afterwards we all got into it. I grabbed my things, left, and now here I am."

"So the only time you come to see your mom is because of a fight?"

"Noooo momma. I came because this is the only place I can find peace."

"I know I'm just messing with you", she laughs.

I smile and roll my eyes.

"Quick question though."

"Yeah ma?"

"How did this whole thing with Mack come about?"
