FOUR YEARS LATER......

"Yanna slow down. You know I'm not as fast as I used to be", I say, holding my belly.
"Momma come on. I wanna play with Uncle Kaine and Uncle Seyven", my now 3 year old daughter says.
"I literally have a whole human being in my stomach. Told myself I wasn't goin go through this again and now look at me."
"Blame daddy", she laughs.
I roll my eyes. "Take these plates out back. Alright?"
"Yes ma'am."
I smile as I watch her run outside to Mack. He instantly beams at the sight of her and picks her up. They laugh and play which brings happy tears to my eyes.
"I'm so proud of you my love", my mother says, coming in from the backyard.
"For what ma?"
"For this beautiful family you're raising. How you brought everybody together. I'm so proud of you and I know your father is too."
I smile and hug her. "I love you ma."
"I love you too. And I love my little munchkins baking in that oven too."
"Munchkin as in singular ma."
"I don't know about that. I'm thinking twins."
"Right ma. I'm most definitely thinking twins. Look at how big you are", Angelica says, coming in.
"Ian goin lie. You fat asl", Zyhair laughs.
"Suck my dick weirdo."
"That's what you did and now look at you, pregnant AGAIN."
"He ate that", my momma laughs.
"I know you not taking his side ma."
"I'm not taking anybody side. I just know he ate that."
"Y'all mean as hell picking on my girl like that", Titi adds.
"Right like I don't already feel fat."
"Y'all should've seen her ass the other day. She was fucking that food up. Maybe she is eating for two. Maybe even three, Kaine comments.
"So is it gang up on Olivia day or something?", I ask, annoyed.
"Ain't nobody picking on ya sensitive ass. We clearly all think you having twins. Ia bet a rack on it", Zyhair says.
"I'll bet two."
"Fuck yall. I'll bet 10 she have triplets", Mack's mom says, laughing.
Everyone begins to talk about the babies and even their names.
I grow more irritate and just step outside.
The sound of laughter and chatter fill the air. The kids play in the hot sun, Mack's on the grill. We all lived to see this moment. I'm so blessed.
"Awhhh shiii, who made my wife upset?", Mack asks, walking up to me.
"Everybody babe. They're over here bullying me calling me fat and saying I'm having twins or triplets."
"Shiii I wouldn't mind having twins or triplets. Maybe even a couple more."
"That's that shit I be talking about Mack. You do that sweet talking shit and boom I'm pregnant again."
"Don't be mad at me. You the one that be eating the dick up."
"And do. The only one for lifeee", I say, showcasing my 30 carat diamond ring.
"Always. I love you shorty."
"I love you too baby. Always and forever", I say before pecking his lips.
"EWWWWW YALL BEING NASTYYYY", Mackenzie says, sticking her tongue out.
"Ewwwwwww", little Yanna and Gavin agree.
"I really don't like y'all", I laugh.
"We know. You love us though. Don't be thinking you replacing us either. I'll put those babies outside. Don't play with me", Gavin states, crossing his arms.
"Gavin man chill. Go flirt with some girls or something", Mack says.
"Unc, you know I got the hoes man."
I roll my eyes. "Gavin sit ya lil grown ass down."
"Don't be mad Olivia. You'll always be my girl."
"Boy I'm your whole aunty."
"Aunty was just a title. Still is, know what I'm saying."
"Yeah bye", I laugh, waving him away.
I look at Mack who grins at the sight of the family. Our family.
"You okay?", I ask.
"Yeah...I'm just glad I'm finally got to have it."
"Have what?"
"The opportunity to make a happy family. I love this."
I smile. "We finally did it."
And so although our old life was gone and that chapter closed, we now have the opportunity to build a new one. Not only for us but for our children. For our family.
This is just the beginning.
