I've honestly become one of the crew. K, G, Jet, and Mack are the only people I hang out with I love it there. We do hits all across the city and I've never been caught. Not even by my own momma. She hasn't really suspected anything since I mail her money from an old address. She thinks it's God sending her money from above. I just keep sending money to her, because it's been a little hard for her since my dad died, but now she's happy and I have no complaints. 𝕋𝕠𝕕𝕒𝕪 is the first day of school at my new school. The mayor decided to combine North and Southside high into school, since he got a lot of complaints about segregation and inequality within the students and staff.
Kaliyah and I have gotten a lot closer with each other, these past few months. Mack, G, and Jet are like brothers to me with their annoying asses. If nobody got me, I know they do. We have a real friendship, that doesn't reflect on time, but on loyalty and that's what we are: loyal to each other.
"Olivia, another check came", my mom says from the kitchen.
"How much money this time ma?"
"2,000 dollars. It just keeps going up by the week."
"Yeah. Like you said, god works in mysterious ways."
"Yes he does, but you sure you don't have anything to do with this?"
"Yeah why?"
"Because ever since you got those new friends, money been coming in."
"Ma, I'm not doing anything, but simply working like I always do. Like you said, god sent you the money and he's gonna keep sending it", I say grabbing my purse.
"Mhmm, tell those kids I said hey and when you goin invite them over for dinner?"
"Ma, I will and I don't know. Kaliyah has already been over here and Mack won't shut up about meeting you."
"Well tell them that they can come over for dinner anytime."
"Yes ma'am. I will. I love you and I'll talk to you later.
"Ok. I love you too and have a great first day", she says as I walk out the door. I get in my car and start the engine to drive. My phone connects to my car and Trust- Brent Faiyaz plays. My phone then, buzzes and I unlock it.
