"Dong Chul ah, where are you?"
"Jun Ki is with Sang Mi's mom. I'm with Sang Hwan right now. We found an apartment, we can stay here. It's far from the abandoned house."
"Good. But I found out something."
"What is it?"
"I think I know who were the people behind Ye Hwon's death."
"Who? How did you know?"
"Let's talk tomorrow. I'll go there."
Tae Young came back to the room where Sang Mi was when he calmed down only to see her already asleep.
He sigh, this is probably their last day together as he will bring her to her mother tomorrow yet it turned out to be an emotional day for him.
He lay beside her, admiring her beautiful face.
"I'm sorry if you had to go through all the hardships, Sang Mi ah. I'm glad that I met you, I'm happy that I was able to save you because if anything bad happens to you too... I will not be able to forgive myself." he whispered as he caress her face
The sun shines through Sang Mi's face. She felt a warm breathe on her nape. She turned to look at him. She stares at him, looks at his tattoo that was peaking on his shirt.
"Hey." Tae Young said, Sang Mi smiled at him "Goodmorning." he pressed a peck on her lips which makes her blush
"Are...we..Are we dating now?" Sang Mi asked curiously, Tae Young started to feel bad. He will leave after this. Maybe confessing his feelings for her is wrong timing.
She waited for his answer but saw hesitation on his eyes. She was about to get up when he pulled her to gave her a tight hug.
He didn't answer Sang Mi yet, he was still finding the courage to tell her everything.
They are now in his car going to her mother. She was quiet the whole car ride. His left hand on the steering wheel while the other is holding her hand.
"We're here." he stated
Sang Mi was amazed. The house was two times bigger where they was last night.
"Sang Mi ah." she looked to him
"You know that I like you right? But now, I still have things to do. For now, I want you to focus on your healing physically and mentally and be with you mother." he said
"Where are you going?" she asked
"It's better if you won't know where and what will I do. It's for your safety."
"You're going to leave? she asked and he nodded
"When?"
"Today. After this."
Sang Mi felt a pang in her heart. She didn't know why she feels nervous and worried about his safety.
"Are you coming back? Tell me you're gonna come back." she said
Tae Young holds her hand "Don't worry about me. I'll try to come b----"
"Don't try! You have to come back." Sang Mi raised her shaking voice
Tae Young noticed her, she was about to cry and he hated it. He doesn't want to see her cry even if it's for him.
"Don't cry. Alright. I promise. I will come back just don't cry." He expressed as he wiped her tears
"Let's go your mom's waiting for you."
They got inside the house, Jun Ki welcomed them.
"Boss, Sang Mi ah I'm glad you're both safe."
Sang Mi bows at him and mouthed thank you for all the help.
"Let's go see your mom." Tae Young reached for her hand and they both walked upstairs while Jun Ki is preparing the things they need.
Sang Mi opened the door and saw her mother sitting in a couch knitting a sweater- she was surprised by her mother's sudden change. Her face is not pale anymore, she looks healthy and she can even look at her with a smile.
"Omma." she whispered and run to hug her, she was crying in her arms "Sang Mi ah. Where hve you been? I was waiting fo you" her mother said
"I'm happy you're here Sang Mi ah. We're safe. Don't cry." her mother said as she runs her hand on her back
"Are you okay, omma?"
Her mom nodded and smile. Sang Mi turned her back to see Tae Young smiling at them. She walked towards him "Thank you so much for everything."
"It's nothing, Sang Mi. MWF is her therapy schedule don't worry the psychologist will go here. There are two helpers in this house both of them are kind and there are bodyguards outside to make sure you're both safe."
"This is too much."
"Don't think about anything. Just be safe and happy here with your mom. Okay? If something happens call me." He said as he gave her a phone
"I'll go now." He said
"Wait!"
Sang Mi hugged him "Yah, I can't leave if you're like this." He said
"You have to comeback safely. Promise me." Sang Mi stated, they did a pinky finger promise
Tae Young kiss her forehead and left.
Sang Mi felt bad about this but couldn't do anything. She didn't even know where they are going.
She watched him with Jun Ki putting something at the back of the car.
"Is it drugs? Are they going to make a deal?" she thought
Then she watched the car drive away.
"Please, please be safe." she whispered
