Sang Mi along with her mother goes to the location where the police texted her.
She is nervous as she's not ready to see what mingt had happened to Tae Young. She knew inside her heart that he was hurt but she couldn't accept the fact that maybe he's dead.
She's trembling as she walk in the hallway of the morge
"Omma, I'm so scared." she whispered. Her mom hold her hands tighter.
"Are you Ms. Im Sang Mi?" A man asked and she nodded "This way, ma'am. You can uncover the two bodies and tell us who is your relative. I will wait here outside for your privacy." the man stated
She bites her lips and close her eyes. "You can do this, Sang Mi." she whispered
With a deep breath, she and her mother enter the room. It's empty and there are just two hospital beds at the center, both of it were covered with a white blanket.
She stopped for a moment "I think I can't do it." she said as she feels tears escaping from her eyes even before she check.
Her mom takes the initiative to open the first body on the left side bed. Both of them got surprised on what they saw. The two look at each other.
It's the spiritual father's body.
Sang Mi walks towards the right bed, with a trembling hand she decided to take off the blanket to see the face of the person.
At that moment, she got speechless. She doesn't know what to feel. She takes a step backwards as she cover the face again and turn her back.
She saw her mother breaking down.
It's her father.
"What the hell happened?" she thought
"Omma, don't cry." she whispers
She, herself doesn't know what to feel to see her father lifeless. She's mad at him - for making their lives miserable. Her mind tells her that her father deserves it but still her heart says, he's her father after all. Her heart aches for her mother.
"Sang Mi ah, we are really free now." her mother managed to say
After they composed themselves and saying a proper goodbye to her father, they settle everything for her father's burial.
Sang Mi sees a policeman outside the place. "Omma, wait here."
"Uhm excuse me, did you happen to know what happened to the church where you find the bodies?"
"We are still investigating but one thing for sure there's a caller who tipped us that there's a drug trading happening there. When we get there the two are already dead." the police explain
"What... what about the other people inside?" she asked nervously
"Oh, they are at the hospital."
"Are they safe?"
"Physically? Yes. I need to go now."
"Wai...wait! Can I ask where hospital it is?"
Sang Mi tells one of Tae Young's men to drive her mother back to Seoul.
"What about you?" the man asked
