Tae Young went inside the church, it was dark. There's only one light which was at the center of the hall.
He took a deep breath as he walked, he roamed his eyes and saw no one inside.
"Whatever happens, I'm doing this for my poor sister. She didn't deserve to die just like that." he thought
He heard a footsteps walking towards him, then he saw the spirit father looking at him from head to toe.
"I assume you're not that stupid why I want to meet you." the spiritual father started
Tae Young scoffed "Yes, I'm not stupid just like you. You and your useless men who let Sang Mi and her mother escaped." he stated as he chuckled
"You know what, you couldn't even do a single task without your cult members." he added
The spiritual father was staring at him. Tae Young didn't know what exactly he was thinking.
Then he laughed- a demonic laugh to be exact. "How ironic, You saved Sang Mi with all your might but not your own sister. I THINK YOU'RE MORE STUPID THAN ME IN THAT PART." He said as he walked around him, then he stopped behind him whispering in his ears
"Do you know what I did to your lovely sister, Jang TaeYoung?"
He had enough so he punched him from behind. "WHAT DID YOU DO?" he shouted at him as he continued punching his face
The spiritual father just laugh as blood escaping from his face. When he got tired, the spiritual father managed to stand up, limping. He spit the blood from his mouth.
"You're aggressive and impulsive. Just like Ye Hwon. But let me tell you what really happened to your dear sister, Jang TaeYoung."
While panting, Tae Young looked at him.
"You know what, you need to say thank you to me because I literally let her in this church when she didn't had any work when she got here."
Tae Young was confused for a moment- Ye Hwon told him that she got a job and why is this guy saying he let her in?
"Oh." spiritual father said "So, you don't know? She got scammed. I think it's your fault. Why did you let your sister go here in Muji County?"
"YOU DON'T KNOW THE WHOLE STORY SO SHUT UP." He said
"Even though I know or don't that doesn't change the fact that it's your fault as her older brother and a guardian." Spiritual father walked towards him and tapped his shoulders
"It's okay, I bet she enjoyed staying here. With me." he whispered
Tae Young closed his eyes and clenched his fist. "She would have been rich today if she let herself be the spiritual mother but like Sang Mi she chose the latter. she escaped. So I had to make a move."
"Tell me. What did you do to my sister?" he managed to say, tears brimming in his eyes
"Well, the last time I saw her was when she's about to crown as the spiritual father but then she managed to escape, maybe your right my men were stupid that a weak woman managed to run. But ofcourse, I had my ways. We cornered her in an abandoned building." the spiritual father explained
"Where you saw her body. I actually saw you there crying your eyes out while holding her body. When saving Sang Mi, you're always on time how come you couldn't find your sister right away?"
Tae Young held his neck. "Don't kill me yet, I need to tell you the fun part. How she died." he managed to say even his breath was not stable
"Tell me." Tae Young stated, he gritted his teeth as he tighten the hold in his neck then release it
The spiritual father catched his breath "She's so stubborn, I had to make her sleep. So I punched her stomach. While she's sleeping peacefully, you know exactly what I did. I wasn't able to do it to Sang Mi but I did it to your sister, Jang TaeYoung."
he smirked as he saw Tae Young cried, his knees got weak.
"I could say she was very delicious. I was satisfied. We tied her up and put her clothes again after. When she woke up, she was still trying to escaped so I let her decide."
"Becoming the spiritual mother or die?"
Tae Young couldn't anymore. "STOP."
"What do you think she chose?"
"I SAID STOP IT."
"Ofcourse the latter because she's not here anymore! JANG TAE YOUNG, I KILLED HER. I PUT THE GUN ON HER HEAD AND PULLED THE TRIGGER."
"SHUT UP!!!" Jang TaeYoung shouted as he pull out his gun, loaded it and placed it on the spiritual father's temple.
"I'M GOING TO KILL YOU. JUST LIKE WHAT YOU DID TO MY SISTER. YOU ARE A MONSTER. YOU DESERVE TO DIE!" he said
He was about to pull the trigger when spiritual father talked "You won't do that."
"Do you think I can't? For your information, I killed many people."
"Because when you do it, Sang Mi and her mother will die too."
Tae Young instantly put down the gun. He was speechless, shocked, angry and confused at the same time.
"I know where they are, Jang TaeYoung. So if you want to see them alive, you can't kill me."
Tae Young broke down, he was shouting and crying. "Tell your men to leave this place. I don't want to see blood outside this church, Jang TaeYoung."
"And if you're done crying get out and don't come back." He said as he left
Tae Young watched him walked away "I'm gonna come back. Remember that. I will kill you." he thought
"I'm fine. Don't worry. No need to use that gun. You can leave." he sent a text message to Jun Ki
"Go without me. I'll be back, I'm fine. I just need be alone." he also sent a text to Dong Chul
He called Sang Mi to check them.
"Yah! Jang TaeYoung. Where are you? Are you okay? What happened?"
"Sang Mi ah."
"Why? Please, Tae Young ah answer me!" Sang Mi sensed something happened to him
"Are you okay? Did something happened there? Are you and your mom safe?" he whispered
"We're fine. Yah! How about you? Are you okay?"
"Did anyone barged in the house?"
"What are you saying? All is fine here."
Then he realized that the spiritual father lied about knowing where Sang Mi is.
He chuckled. He's defeated this time. He knows Sang Mi is her weakness.
"Sang Mi ah."
"What? Why?"
"I'm tired." he whispered helplessly and end the call.
He breakdown.
