It is the next day and I bring my keyboard. I go back down to the outlet and I begin playing on the side of this building. There are a bunch of girls in the front so I wonder who it is. I continue to sing and some people surround me. I am playing StarStrings new album. The girls in the front come to me and start singing along. I guess they are StarStrings fans too. I finish and they cheer. They give me money. I start singing my own songs and they leave. There is a guy who starts running towards me and he snatches up all my money. "Hey! Come back here!" I start running after him and then he gets to a dead end. I kick him in the face, just like I did to Milo but he didn't stay down. He got back up and was about to hit me until someone grabbed his arm and stopped him. I look up and it is Neil Frank's from StarStrings. He does some karate stuff to the guy and returns my money to me. He let the guy go. "Hey! You're just going to let him go? After he robbed me?" I say in frustration. "Baby this is LA, we don't have time for silly stunts like that." He says. He helps me up. "Thank you for helping me. I have to get back to my spot." I run back to my stuff and Milo Greens is just playing there in public! "Um hello?" I say in confusion because I never thought I'd see him on the streets playing my keyboard. "Aliya? Is that you?" He says. Milo seems confused as well. "Yea it is me. You're playing my keyboard." I say. "Oh I'm sorry. Here sit down. Wanna do a duet?" He asks. "Uhhh in front of all of these people?" I don't really want to. "Yes silly. Sit down and play "Stars in the night"." I begin to play and he is singing so beautifully. Neil comes next to me and harmonizes with Milo.
I cannot believe this is happening. I am performing with my favorite band. This is crazy. The song has ended and the crowd goes wild. "You're a great pianist, Aliya. How did you learn to play?" Asks Milo. "I taught myself from YouTube videos" I say in embarrassment. "Aliya,we could use a new pianist. Ours just quit. Wanna join us?" Asks Neil. "No way, Jerry quit? That's crazy hahaha but no thank you. I don't think your manager would like that." I say. "She is right. I wouldn't like that. Who would have thought I would see you here, Ms.Keins? You're so crazy that you followed them to LA?" She says. "Actually I came here to become an singer/songwriter. I love StarStrings but I need to start making money. I get that everyone is obsessed with these boys but we got our lives to deal with. Not everyone is crazy fan." I say to the manager. "Singer/Songwriter you say? Come with me to Buwan Entertainment. If you can get the CEO to love you. I'll make you a star by next Monday" she says. It's sounds like a good deal. "Okay Ms.Manager. You're on." I go back to my hotel and tell my dad everything. Then, I prepare for my audition for tomorrow.
