The moment I heard that voice I was surprised but angry at the same time. Has he been following me this whole time? He wasn't in the library when I was there, maybe he was and I didn't see him. Wait. What am I saying? I didn't want to be rude so I turned around and faced him.
"Hi" I said trying to remain calm.
"Are you okay you seem a little scared." He said with a worried face.
Wow. He can even tell when I am freaking out, bur does he know it's because of him.
"Yea, it's just that you surprised me a little bit. How long have you been standing there?" I asked.
"About five minutes" He said.
I felt some relief because he was not there for the whole conversation. If he was, that would cause a problem.
"Oh. Can I ask you something?" I said trying not to look directly at him.
"Sure." He said.
"Not to be rude or anything. Why are you always around me at the most random of times?" I asked.
"I don't know what you mean." He replied back.
I took a deep breath and sayed this calmly as I could.
"Every time I am by myself and trying to find peace, you come near and disturb that peace."
"I am sorry for that." He said in the nicest tone.
I was silent for a while and looked at him. There was something there that you just can't ignore.
"Apology accepted. Can you at least tell me why along with your apology." I said.
"Well, as you know I am new here and I need someone to tell me about the atmosphere of this school."
You have got to be kidding me. This guy wants to know what this school is like.
I let out a chuckle before I said this. "Why don't you ask one of the girls from your immediate fan club."
"Sure, and at the same time why don't I just start off the year with some crazy, obsessive girl."
After he said we both started cracking up and couldn't stop. We actually started getting attention from some people. You know, this guy is not bad. He has some sense of humor.
"OK, we have to stop before we bring attention to ourselves. Look, it's already started."
I look around and he looks around to the people that were looking at us. We both stared at each other and tried not to laugh. We started smiling and that's where we stopped. I tried to get serious so I can apologize to him. It took a few moments, but I got there.
"Look, I'm sorry that I was mean to you in the beginning. I shouldn't have treated you like that. That's not my usual character."
He stared at me for another moment.
"That's alright. I didn't know that coming here would bring attention to me and that I would have an automatic fan club that includes every girl in the school." He said.
"Well, not every girl." I said smiling.
We had another one of those moments. We just stared at each other with neither of us moving or doing anything. I had to break the silence.
"I would love to tell you about this school and all it has to offer. Let's talk tomorrow at lunch."
"Why we can't talk tonight. You don't want to text or talk over the phone. Come on, don't make me wait to hear about the wonderful school of yours. Now, mine." He said that last part with a sarcastic tone.
"Nope. You're just gonna have to wait for the tremendous description of this place." I also said sarcastically.
"You can't always get you want in life." He said with a smirk.
"I would love to stay here and chat all day, but I gotta go home and do work. It was nice talking to you." I said.
"You too. I hope we can talk some more."
"We'll see about that."
I start walking towards my bike, but I stop myself in the tracks. I turn around and face him. He surprisingly looks up.
"Forgot something?" He said with a sarcastic tone which he kept using.
"Ya, be careful with your fan club. They might get a little aggressive after what they obsess over. Just letting you know. You are not the first guy that had a fan club in this school." I said sincerely but still putting a little sarcasm in the statement.
"Will do." He said plainly.
"I guess I will see you tomorrow." I said, hesitating a little.
"See you tomorrow." He said that and he walked away.
He came back just like I did. I wonder what his story is.
"Forget something?" Quoting him.
"I never got your name." He said curiously.
That's right, I ignored him after walking out on him. I felt bad at that moment. He forgave me.
"It's Mia." I said.
"Well this is the official good-bye. I will see you tomorrow." He said.
"Yes it is. See you tomorrow." I said.
He walked away for good. If he comes back, I will just start cracking up. I don't care if anyone stares at me. I wait a few moments to make sure he left. I waited and nothing happend. There, he left. Now, I can leave. I started walking toward my bicycle. This day ended pretty well. I have learned not to fear James anymore and once I actually talked to him, he doesn't seem that bad. I thought he was one of those rich kids who are too important to associate themselves with anybody but their kind. He is the total opposite. I guess you can never judge a book by its cover. For for the first time, I am excited to go to school tomorrow. This is just the beginning of our conversation. I need to talk to someone about this. I get my iPod and put my headphones in my ears. I get on my bike and start pedaling home. I am pedaling at a calm but quick speed. I am going at this speed so I can get home quickly, but relax at the same time. I just keep pedaling and enjoy the way home.

So far, so good.
What do you guys think so far? Let me know, Now I know it's slow, but this is just the beginning. It will get interesting.
Please tell other people about this book. I am thinking about putting this up for Watty Awards 2011. If you think this is good enough let me know and I will put it up.
Also if anyone would like to design the cover for the book that would be great. I am thinking of ideas myself, but I would like some help. If you would like to help me with the cover or do it completely leave me a message and I will see if I like it or not.
Thank you. :)
