FaceTime buddy ~ Kairi

Kairi: I'm on my way.

I hung up the call and waited to meet the boy that was on the other side of the phone. I was excited yet unbelievably nervous. What was I supposed to do if he wasn't what I expected..

Maybe I'm just overthinking this. Yeah I'm definitely overthinking this.

I sat and talked with Mattia about Kairi and other things waiting for his arrival. About ten minutes later I saw a silver car pull into my drive way.

I smiled as I waited to see the teenage boy. One of my closest friends... I saw him finally open the door. I smiled brightly and ran towards him pulling him into a tight hug. He hugged back just as tight.

"I've been waiting for this moment." Kairi said into the hug. I let go of the hug and smiled at him, he picked me up and spun me around slowly. I laughed as he let me go.

I looked over to see Mattia he was just staring at the ground. He looked really awkward. "You should come meet the rest of my friends.." Kairi said I looked at him and smiled .

"Yeah that would be awesome." I agreed I ran into the house and asked my mom if I could hang out with some friends.

"Friends? Already? Hmm I'll allow it." My mom agreed. I smiled at her and thanked her. I walked back out to see the boys sitting in the car waiting for me.

I skipped towards the back seat and opened the door taking a seat. They started to play a song that I knew so I started to sing along.

Kairi looked back at me while driving.

"You know this song?" Kairi asked smiling as he song along as well "of course I do!" I responded jamming out to the music as we reached someone's house.

I began to get nervous I never did well meeting new people, especially boys. I hate being judged and when I'm around boys I feel like I am always being judged.

"We are here" Mattia exclaimed unbuckling his seat belt and opening the door. Kairi and Mattia began to run towards the door. I got out of the car and quickly followed after trying not to be left behind.

I saw a white dog run out the house and was heading straight towards me. I just put my hands out to prevent the dog from jumping on me.

"MIGUEL!" I heard a boy scream at the dog. The dog stopped dead in their tracks and looked back at the teenage boy.

I looked and it was one of Kairi's friend's dog. "Yo I'm sorry... this is Miguel he can be pretty wild." The boy said I smiled at him "I'm Y/n one of kairis friends" I said putting my hand out for him to shake.

He smiled at me quickly showing his dimples "I'm alejandro... one of kairis other friends." He said grabbing my hand and shaking it.
