I've been spending all my left over days with my friends especially Lexi. I packed up all my stuff and started to put it all in the car. I looked across the street where Lexi lives and sprinted over there. I wasn't paying attending if there were cars or not luckily I wasn't hit by one making my way over there.

I knocked on Lexis front door as fast and loud as I could. Her mother soon answered the door.

"Oh Y/n dear what's wrong?" She asked

"Can I see Lexi?" I asked

She nodded and let me into her house. I raced up the stairs to knock on Lexis room door. She answered and looked at me. She had her hair up in a messy bun and looked like she had been crying. I pulled her into a tight hug "i just wanted to see you... one last time." I said before letting go.

My eyes filled with tears as I had to walk away "I love you." Lexi said "I love you too." I replied making my way out of her house.

I walked back to my house and got into the car. I looked at the house and started to cry even more. I didn't want to leave but I knew we had to. It felt like a piece of my heart had been torn and stayed in that house.

I sat in my seat staring outside the window as it began to rain. We have been driving for three hours now. It would take at least ten to get there. I put my head phone in and began to listen to music.

I put on "I wanna be yours" by artic monkeys. I texted Lexi.

Y/n: hey.. I'm really bored we are still driving. I'll let you know when we get there and I'll call you.

Lexi: Okay.

I turned my phone off and watched the rain droplets race down the cold glass. I put my warm hand on the glass and began to trace the water with my finger. I sighed staring at my phone waiting for a notification from Lexi or just anybody else. I finally got a text.

Kairi: hey.

Y/n: hey I'm on the road to New Jersey right now.

Kairi: oh really? That's where I live.

I smiled at the text. Maybe I could meet with Kairi...

Y/n: Thats awesome. Maybe we could meet up or something sometime.

Kairi: yeah that would be great. How much longer until you get here?

I looked at my moms phone and read the time.

Y/n: about 4 hours maybe more depending on traffic.

Kairi: alright I'll text you then to see if you are here or not.

I left him on read and just stared out the window as I was listening to music.
