~Percy POV~
As I came to my room, I curled up like a ball and cried. I know it's not a manly or a princely thing to do, but I cried. There were many reasons for my tears. One was obviously my controlling parents and this marriage set-up. This set-up also reminded me of a girl who used to be my best friend and crush till I was 16, my parents found out about her. She's probably been executed by now. And now I'm supposed to marry someone I don't even know? And live with the guilt of my best friend's death forever?
I wiped my tears as I heard Frank yelling at my door.
"Not the time, Frank," I said trying not to sound too broken.
"Percy, please? You'll love what I want to show you, it'll definitely cheer you up!" He said, I imagined he had a puppy dog pleading face.
"Oh, so you know too?" I said while looking cross
"Ya....." He admitted with guilt "Come now Perce, pleeeeeeaaaaassseeeee?"
"Ok, ok, I'm coming" I wiped my tears and straightened my clothes.
"Ok, so I know your birthday, isn't until next month but you seemed pretty down so I just want to give you your birthday present." He said while he leads me to someplace, he had blindfolded me for the surprise element.
He removed my blindfold and I saw the horse stable, my favorite place in this royal dump. Fun fact about me, I love horses!
Frank pointed towards a black stallion (A/N - I couldn't say pegasus since this was the normal world, so I went with this.)
"This one's for you!" He said with delight.
"No way!" I said in shock
"Yes way, what do you want to name him?" He asked
"Blackjack" I said almost instantly
"Woah, that was fast, I like it though."
A/N-Sorry for the bad ending, I was out today so I only got an hour to write this. And the chapters are short cuz I update every day and have exams coming up in a month and a half. Hope you liked it. And I urge you guys to gimme feedback.
