Chapter 5

A/N- Sorry for not updating yesterday, someone came over. Since most of it has been Percy's POV I'll mix it up today and make it Frank's POV

~Frank POV~

I was cleaning Percy's birthday horse when I heard someone calling me to come to the Breakfast Hall.

When I reached the hall I saw Sally and Jason looking like they were having a conversation.

"Good morning Frank." Said Sally

"Morning."

"Jason and I were just discussing about you and Percy."

"Oh really?" I said while looking quizzical. What were they talking about?

"Poseidon and I have decided that both of you will be married in 2 months!" She said

The room fell silent.

Now, you may be thinking Frank, why aren't you speaking up about such a thing? or How is Sally who is not even your mother deciding such things for you?

Well, first of all, my parents were war heroes and when I was twelve they went to war and never came back. Both Sally and Poseidon adopted me and make decisions for me like they're my parents. If it weren't for them I would be no one, and for that, I never feel like protesting on any decisions they make for me.

Yet, the first thought in mind was, oh boy I'm toast.

I didn't have any problem, I was raised like that but I'm worried about Percy. He already feels that his parents are too controlling and this will make him hate them even more!

"You will be marrying Percy's fiancé's best friend's sister" Sally continued.

I looked around to see that Jason was frantic af. I'm sure he was feeling the same way I did about Percy. 

So I decided to give him his black stallion 2 weeks beforehand to cheer him up.

~Le time skip to the time Frank comes to Percy's room~

I started knocking on the door of Percy's room. I leaned onto the door and heard quiet sobbing. I know it's not a good thing to eavesdrop, but I just had to know how he felt.

"Percy! Come out I want to show you something!" I yelled

"Not the time, Frank," He said. I could hear the hurt in his voice even though he was trying to hide it.

"Percy, please? You'll love what I want to show you, it'll definitely cheer you up!" I said, putting on my best pleading puppy dog face.

"Oh, so you know too?" He said, sounding exasperated. I felt guilty. It's not like I wanted to know or wanted it to happen. Though I understand his rage.

"Ya....." I admitted with guilt "Come now Perce, pleeeeeeaaaaassseeeee?"

"Ok, ok, I'm coming" Finally.

"Ok, so I know your birthday, isn't until next month but you seemed pretty down so I just want to give you your birthday present," I said trying to fill the hallway excitement so that even Percy can feel it.

I blindfolded him for some surprise element as I led him to the horse stable.

"This one's for you!" I said while pointing towards the horse

"No way!" He said in shock

"Yes way, what do you want to name him?" I asked

"Blackjack" He said almost instantly

"Woah, that was fast, I like it though." It reminded me of my father's poker games for some reason.

Percy rode the horse for hours till it was lunch. We all ate donuts for lunch.

"Why the donuts, Perce?" I asked

"IDK it just seems like my buddy here likes 'em" He said with a grin.

"Well now you have to go to dress your fiancé and my fiancé will be coming in an hour"

"First of all stop saying fiancé, it's annoying, and second my parents set an alliance plan for you too?" He said in irritation

I nod.

He then storms off to his room calling for Jason to help him get ready.

A/N-That's it for today I made it longer since I couldn't upload yesterday. Bye!
