"Samaira, bring two pairs of socks from dad's drawer and also that polka dot white t-shirt"
This is my mom. My dad is the owner of a multinational café franchise which is located in Canada and California. So we were packing for dad's foreign trip which he visits every summer for a trip to the branch and ensures that it's working properly or not.
My mother is a physician in fortis hospital as she is an experienced and senior doctor. She is always busy in the hospital. Her visiting hours are from 11 am to 1 pm.
Enough of the family now, let's meet our free spirit, yours truly. Ms Samaira loves to capture the moment. yeah, you got it right I am that so-called enthusiastic photographer that the author mentioned in the blurb. Most of the day I spend my time outside capturing moments after returning home, I would sort some pictures which I took the whole day and delete those which are not apt or blurred.
Then I and mom talk to my elder sibling Aisha who lives abroad in Boston and works in a famous software company. Later we would play cards or board games or sometimes we watched our favourite web series, Modern Family. I love Phil's character so much sadly the show ended but no one can stop us to watch the re-runs.
We were currently watching the episode named connection lost in which while stuck at the airport, Claire partakes in online snooping that creates drama with the rest of the family. It is by far my favourite episode.
So, in conclusion, I love travelling and capturing moments. I have an Instagram page named "beautiful Mumbai" on which I post my clicked pictures.
So, yeah back to the present. Dad was leaving the day after tomorrow that's, 25 April, and then he will return after three weeks. He is always busy so there are minimal chances, that we all meet together. Sometimes mom is busy, sometimes Aisha and other times I have my exams coming.
I live in the Bandra region, and I mostly click sceneries, but sometimes I take self-portraits also from my DSLR which my sister gifted me and a tripod too.
I sometimes take my mother on a beach walk and click some photos of her too. we always relax on the beach or make sandcastles. While making them, I miss my sister with whom I always build sandcastles, I always feel attached to the beach. I still remember how my sister would assist me to the beach and we would spend our afternoon loafing around and playing at the beach.
Today, we were going to the same beach. I was pretty excited and took my DSLR and tripod. There was some weird sensation in my body. I recall the day when didi came to know about my love for photography and gifted me a DSLR on my birthday from her first salary. The memory brought tears to my eyes.
"What happened Samaira? Are you okay?" mom asked, looking tense!
"Yup. Something got into my eyes" I answered while wiping my tears. Mom nodded and took the keys to the car and house.
"Oh I forgot to tell you Aisha is arriving this Saturday," mom said while sitting in the car
"Seriously mom!!" I asked excitedly. My mom gave me a look. "I-I mean okay", trying to pretend not interested, 'try' being the keyword.
"Yeah." mom answered laughing.
The day was spent well. Then I started preparing for my sister's arrival. I made the house upside down with my excitement. I was flooded with enthusiasm. And was most excited about what my sister was bringing for me from Boston.
Today, I went to the airport as my father was leaving for his trip.
Hey, y'all I want to know your view on this chapter (constructive criticism is welcomed) and don't forget to fill in the colour orange in the star.
