Sam's POV:
"What are you listening to?" the girl asked me.
"Miss Americana," I said smiling and she smiled back.
"I guess you should share the earphones then", she took my earphone from one ear and put it in hers. I was observing her with a smile on my face, a second later, she realized what she did and said, "Um, sorry but whenever I hear taylor swift, I can't control myself" I laughed, "It's okay. By the way, what's your name?"
"Ash, Ashwini to be exact"
"Cool Ash, so where are you from?" I asked curiously.
"I live in Bangalore and I came here to Mumbai to stay at my aunt's house. And you are from?"
"I am from Mumbai. You are the first-timer, right?"
"I think recent events were not enough. I have to mess up more" she sighed dramatically. I like her already.
"Always count me...out" I said laughing. She frowned, "Oh my god why did you make my personality irritating that the first person I meet is counting herself out from my future drama-filled endeavours" She ended with her palm on her head, and now I LOVE her.
please read Love in a dramatic voice, that's the thing about words that I can't tell you my voice modulation in this, so I have to put little notes, which results in more effort. and I am exhausted, it's still halfway to the book and I am exhausted. it is hallway only no, writer? yes. *facepalm* Please go back to the book. fiiineee, snobby writer. Oh, I can delete you. Okay okay, I am going.
Ash grinned at me with her braces and did a small courtesy. I laughed at her.
"So you attended this camp before, Samaira?"
"Oh, just call me Sam. No need to be formal and all. After all, we are friends, aren't we?"
"Well friends don't desert you during each other's shenanigans," she said huffing, and I hugged her.
"Don't touch my bag!"
"I am helping you"
There were some noises, one of them was definitely screeching, coming from the back of the bus. We looked back and saw two girls standing, both were new faces according to my knowledge.
"What is your problem, if someone is trying to help you?" well that had a point.
"I don't want any help, okay? I am capable of doing my work on my own" replied the screeching one, she was dressed like a fashion model, I mean isn't it too much girl? She was carrying three bags for the camp AND a handbag in her hand, damn girl love your dedication but oh sweetie you are in big trouble, you're going to be disappointed.
"Hey Kay, mind telling me what is happening here?" Kyra nodded in my and Ash's direction.
"You know how I am always talking about a cousin named Ray" I nodded for her to continue. "Well there she is," she said pointing to a girl who was trying to help.
she was simply dressed with her short blonde hair in half up half down, I noticed that she had beautiful blue eyes, guys I present to you my lady crush, Ray.
"damn" I heard Ash mumble beside me, someone has a lady crush too. I smirked towards her and she gave me a fake disappointing look, but I know she knows that I know. Whoa, a friends moment there.
