Sam's POV:-
"Adios dad," I said.
The flight of my sister will reach by afternoon. So I still got some time to think about the thing which she will bring for her awesome sister, that's me.
So, the time came and my sister came over. we both embraced each other into a long sister hug, ah-who am I kidding it went something like this. Aisha was carrying a whole Harry Potter merch bag in her hands.
"Where did you get all this stuff?" I asked with excitement on my face.
"Oh, I got this from LA when I went to work there but Sonu I am hurt right now, you only care about Harry Potter and not your innocent and caring sister," said Aisha with fake hurt on her face. Well, she did not change a bit.
"Dida, I could never do that to you" I answered back mirroring her expression. "But Harry Potter comes first, so could you please give us both some space" I turned around with my back facing her.
"Yeah yeah whatever," she said not forgetting to mumble out, "I missed you, kiddo"
I wiped my tears and smiled. wipe your tears, I know you are crying too ;). Back to MY Harry Potter collection, oh she did not, she brought me funko pop and that too of my favourite character, yeah you guessed it right, it was Fred.
"How is it?"
"It's fine, like yeah thanks," I gave an 'I-don't care' look in Aisha's direction. She rolled her eyes. Yeah roll your eyes, you may find a brain back there, wait did I just say that, let's just ignore the fact that I just said it, ugh."So where is mom?"
"Wait a minute did you just change your hair colour to blonde"
"Yup. how do I look?"
"eh? you are looking average" I said making a face, she rolled her eyes, control yourself, Sam.
"Back to the topic. where is mom?"
"She is in the kitchen making your favourite dal fry," I said pointing in the direction of the kitchen.
"Oh yes!!" She did her victory dance in front of my face as she knows I hate it when it's all her favourites and not mine. Let's skip to dinner.
"So what is your plan for spending the holiday"
"Oh there is a summer adventure camp named Nestled in Nature starting on 15 May, so I will go there"
"Oh, your usual way of spending a holiday" The women, yes I count myself as one although I do not act like one, so we were eating dinner when Aisha broke the silence.
"Hey, I have an idea. We can all go on a road trip to Ladakh. How's it, mom?"
"Yes, mom. Can we?" I said excitedly, one time in the millennium when I agree with this girl.
"Okay, okay. We will go. First, finish your food. Is that okay with you two?" said mom amusedly.
"Yes," we both said in unison exchanging smiles and eye rolls too, both simultaneously.
"So, pack for 10 days and yes without any potter stuff, okay?" said my mother sternly to me, and I just gave her my guilty smile, it's not my fault that Harry Potter is a great series, it's JK Rowling's fault. Wait a minute.
"Mom I have to cancel my registration also," I said.
"It is obvious, nut head" Aisha nudged me from the back.
"Don't you dare call me that?"
"You look great when you are grumpy," said Aisha laughing at me, ugh why does she always have to get on my nerves?
