The quartet headed straight to the library after all their classes had ended to start their Elements homework. They flipped through books about the four elements, filling out their questionnaire as well. As Hiraeth was searching for why your hand doesn't burn while producing the fire element, she heard Dylan gasp. She looked up from her book.
"Guys, look at this! I found an old prophecy by this person named Hugh Ajax" He pointed to an open book and started to read from it. "'The first time a person produced their element successfully on their first try was in 1806. The second time was in 1959. The next time it will happen will be to four 15-year old children in 2020. The goal for these children, just like the ones before them, will be for them to-'" Dylan stopped and sighed.
"Someone ripped off the next part, but we're obviously the 15-year old children in 2020! That's the reason Mr. Scott went ballistic. We're a part of a prophecy!" He exclaimed joyfully.
"Yeah, but usually the people a part of a prophecy encounter a lot of danger," Hiraeth groaned.
"We don't even know what we're supposed to do," Will shrugged. "What's the point of being in a prophecy, then?"
"It doesn't matter if we don't know, it's going to happen anyways," Talia said frowning.
