The group met in the market square
to go to the carnival in the park.
Everyone was wearing casual clothes
for the carnival. There were many
people at the carnival.
Most of the people were teenagers.
Some came with their significant other. Others came in groups like Milagrosand her friends.
There were many stores at the carnival. Everything was very
colorful. There were fireworks,
games and most importantly, food.
The boys went to get food and the
girls kept gossiping.
The boys cameback with lots of sweet corn, cotton candy, tortillas, paella and tacos.
After eating, they went to ride the
roller coaster. They took many
pictures in the photo booth together.
After, they decided to spread out so
that each person could explore on
their own.
Pablo went to the store where they
played to win gifts.
Regina and Racquel went to ride the death ride where there was a ride through a creepy tunnel.
Emilio went into a bar to have a cocktail.
Milagros walked until she reached a store called "La Guarida del Gitano" (The Gypsy's Lair).
She entered the store and saw a
shiny crystal ball.
"It will cost you 5 euros to get in here. Said the gypsy who was sitting in the
dark part of the store.
"I didn't know," said Milagros feeling
nervous.
The gypsy came out of the dark part
of the store so that Milagros could see
her.
The gypsy looked old and had a
serious face. She was wearing gold
bracelets and had her nose pierced
and had several piercings in both
ears.
"Are you here to see your future?"
asked the gypsy.
Milagros became curious and said
"yes, that's why I came here".
The gypsy laughed and told
Milagros to sit in front of the crystal
ball and put her left hand on the table
with her palm up and Milagros did.
The gypsy sat behind the crystal ball
and took Milagros' hand to read her
future.
After a while, she looked at
Milagros in a strange way and said,
"You have a legendary future. Your
path is one of courage and struggle.
You are going to commit yourself to
something that will unlock your
destiny to greatness. You will face
many obstacles on your path to
greatness. Just stay focused. Your
intelligence and brilliance will save
you in the end. Stay focused."
Milagros sat there speechless. The gypsy had to snap her fingers in her face before she was aware of her surroundings.
The revelation of her future shook
her to the core. She stood up, took out
a 5 euro bill and gave it to the gypsy.
She left the store, grabbed her phone
and called her friends to tell them she
was going back to the guesthouse.
As soon as she arrived at the Ranch, he went straight to his room and cradled herself to sleep.
She was probably going to tell the group about her visit to the gypsy's tent, but by morning she had forgotten.
