It all started when a young boy named Peter Saunders witnessed the murder of his older brother Nathan, Peter was only ten years old when his seventeen year old brother took Peter for their daily stroll when out of nowhere people jumped out brutally attacking Peter and Nathan but only Peter survived. This may seem like a sob story, but i swear Peter is nothing to cry over, what you really should be feeling sad about is his merciless victims. At first it was the people that attacked Nathan and him, but by the end it was innocent people. This is a story of a murderer, this is not a story of happiness but a story of a monster who goes by the name of the Matador.

This is a short story I wrote for an anthology at a Teen Writer's Workshop I did over the summer. I wanted to see if I could escape my typical dark, gory writing style and write something touching and intimate. In short, it's about a woman named Alice, her son Dillon, and the terrible event of the past that shapes the course of their lives. I do not own the artwork used for the book cover; credit goes to Pawlack, an artist on deviantart.
