Christmas day was my favourite time of the year, everyone is happy, opening gifts and spending time with family, it brings more happiness into your life seeing the people you care about most happy. We had already opened all of our presents and Rufus and Lily where cooking dinner. Jenny loved her sewing machine I bought her which was great. I received a beautiful Tiffany & Co necklace from Chuck, I loved it. I actually bought Chuck a new scarf and watch, not for secret santa just as a gift and luckily he loved them.
"Don't freak out but I think Lily invited your parents." Jenny leaned over on the sofa and whispered in my ear. Chuck heard too.
"What? Seriously?" I said in shock.
"Yeah please don't freak out." She tried to keep quiet. I heard the elevator ding and my mother father and brother walked through.
"Mom, Dad, Caleb, what are you doing here?" I welcomed them all with a hug.
"It's Christmas hunny, family should be together." My mom said and smiled, Chuck walked over.
"Uh, this is Chuck." I smiled and Chuck greeted them all.
"Chuck Bass." He shook my fathers hand last.
"Ah, Charles. Pleasure to meet you, I know your father very well." My dad smiled.
"Come on in, your just in time dinners almost ready." Lily said excitedly.
I was glad to see my brother and Chuck getting on well. Caleb was a total different person to Chuck, he's never done a single thing wrong in his life which is why my parents adore him so much and why I moved away, but they got on fine.
"So Bonnie, are you.. coming back home with us tonight?" My mother asked at the table, all eyes turned to me, especially Chucks.
"No actually I was planning on staying if it's okay with Lily and Rufus." I looked at Lily.
"Of course dear, you can stay for as long as you want. This is your second home after all." She smiled.
"Oh. Okay. So you should be starting school here then?" My mom asked.
"Yeah i'm starting in a week. Lily helped me apply." I said.
The day passed so quickly, it was around 8pm my family left, I was quite sad once they left but I got over it. I was getting ready for something special...
