it's finally time.

the school dance is tomorrow night.

*second person POV*

you sit o the bench with Kiyoko and tsumuraya, watching the boys have a practice match with each other. you can't stop stressing about the dance tomorrow night. you really wanted to go with tsukishima but of course, tsumuraya had other plans. you wouldn't even be surprised if tsumuraya made herself get the representative spot.

you sigh and look over at her, she hasn't taken her eyes off tsukishima since the match started. you couldn't blame her, his blocks were pretty impressive. they have been improving. you make a note to thank the captains of Nekoma and Fukurodani for the persistent bugging they did.

"Alright guys, gather up." coach Ukai said and all the boys walk over. "that was a good match, there is room for improvement of course. but I'll let miuna give you some tips," he says, turning to you.

tsumuraya glares as you stand up. 'coach really has to stop putting me on the spot' you think as everyone's eyes are on you.

"ok well, um, suga. you have to be more confident with your sets, trust me. they are great." he gives you a smile and nod.

"uhh, Tanaka, when you get stressed you tend to lose your surroundings so watch out. Hinata and Kageyama, try to be diverse with the amount of freak quick and regular quick attacks you do ok." the three nod and you move on.

"tsukki, I see your timing is getting better, but make sure you polish your form, your way too relaxed which can lead to a block that the opponent can breakthrough. and Yamaguchi, your serves are looking really good, I suggest you also practice some receives for when you are subbed in. you want to be prepared." they both agree and the coach gives you and satisfied nod, dismissing practice. "have a good weekend guys. there's no practice tomorrow because of the dance."

"you walk out and your cousin and Kageyama are already sprinting down to the corner store so you assume you walking alone tonight. you sigh.

just then you feel a tap on your shoulder, you turn around to see tsukishima, Yamaguchi, and tsumuraya. "You're not thinking of walking alone are you?" tsukishima states. you just stare until tsumuraya speaks up.

"she fine, just let her walk alone," you say with a smile ad a small giggle. tsukishima frowns and turns away.

"I thought I asked you to leave. your house is on the opposite direction. go." tsukishima says and then continues walking forward.

she lets out a strained giggle, "ok Kei." she says through a fake smile. she then turns to leave.

"oh no but precious nyoko can't walk alone," she mumbles.

you just stare until tsukishima calls for you to hurry up. you chase after them.

you wake up in the morning, knowing the dance is tonight nad that Natsu is going to want to help you get ready all day.

you walk downstairs to see Hinata anxiously inhaling his cereal. "Woah shoyo you ok?" you ask, walking in front of him.

"t-the dance is t-today.... Kageyama asked m-me to go." he stutters out. you smile.

"you said yes right? please say you said yes," you ask. he just looks up with a big smile and blush. "i-i did." he says and you squeal.

"I'm so round sho! is that why your nervous?" you smirk.

he looks at you blushing, "I'm not just nervous. it's like a 'gwaaa' feeling y'know? like the feeling before playing against a strong opponent! you're scared but can't help but be excited!" he says jump.
