The two didn't know how quickly they managed to walk back home, soaked and chilled to their bones yet their warm clasped hands felt the contrary.

Much to their poor luck, the city was in a power outage. The dark drawing room was now dimly lit after Jungkook hurriedly threw in pieces of wood into their small fireplace.

The orange blaze is ample enough to form warm silhouettes of each other but for Jungkook and Taehyung, even the darkness would satisfy to map each other's body.

Taehyung got out of his shirt and stood on the fluffy carpet, watching Jungkook from behind- the latter still busy with the wood fire, trying to bring in more warmth to their home.

Satisfied with the burning wood a bit later, Jungkook pulled out of his soaked shirt. Before he could turn around, he felt a pair of lips on his shoulder, pressing warm gentle kisses on his cold skin.

The soft puffs of air hit Jungkook's face as Taehyung snaked his arms around his waist from behind, palms pressing onto Jungkook's toned abs.

Jungkook couldn't help but turn and face Taehyung and oh my God.

Taehyung was absolutely stunning, completely unfair to how someone should look after being this drenched. His curls were even messier, cheeks rosy, face fully glowing.

"You are so, so beautiful Taehyung." Jungkook blurted out loud.

Taehyung felt so flustered by the sudden praise and he squirmed under Jungkook's trailing gaze.

Jungkook's eyes stopped abruptly at Taehyung's neck, eyes widening, lips parting in slight shock seeing the chain resting beautifully on his neck.

How was it humanly possible for Taehyung to look even more beautiful, Jungkook will never know. The diamond chain on his honey skin accentuated his beauty further glowing along his boyfriend, stealing Jungkook's breath away fully.

The pretty chain twinkled in the dim hall as Jungkook stared at it, catching Taehyung's attention too.

"The chain.... How?"

"Eunwoo told me everything, all of it."

"Tae-" Jungkook began but Taehyung shushed him.

"It's so beautiful Jungkook. Thank you for-"

This time, Jungkook shut him up, leaning in closer. He planted a soft kiss on the corner of Taehyung's lips, making them close their eyes at the same time, in pure bliss.
Jungkook turned around completely and held Taehyung's cheek in his palm tenderly, leaning to place a kiss on his forehead.

"Tae I..." Jungkook swallowed the lump in his throat before continuing.

"I'm so sorry Tae. I really am." Jungkook apologized again wholeheartedly, eyes heavy with guilt.

"I'm sorry too Kookie." Taehyung said, placing his hands on top of Jungkook's, kissing it gently.

They both knew they had a lot to fix, a lot to talk about until no misunderstanding remains in the air which can possibly affect their relationship again.
