This wasn't the same Jungkook, Taehyung fell in love with. He didn't sound like his Jungkook anymore, the bitter words falling from his mouth were just too unreal.

The sense of selfishness and ego were too painful for Taehyung to believe in but it was the blatant truth. Jungkook indeed did hurt him and those unseen wounds trickled painfully.

Taehyung hugged his knees to his chest, body quivering as he sobbed loudly. He had been suffering for a long time, waiting for Jungkook, staying alone in the house.

He craved his attention, his touch and his love.

Only if Jungkook could see…

Jungkook's side of the story wasn't any good either. He never tried to hurt Taehyung intentionally, not even in his worst nightmare.

This was nothing like the way he planned for their future. He just wanted to give Taehyung a perfect life, no complaints. He wanted to cherish him, spoil him and care for him but in reality, it was completely opposite of that.

He was helpless in the situation he was trapped in. He had no interest in being insulted every day, leaving his Taehyung all alone and returning home completely exhausted.

He wanted to be the perfect man Taehyung could always rely on, he wanted to be his only one and now seeing Taehyung doing better than him, made him feel worthless.

Jungkook always feared losing his Taehyung and it etched firmer onto his mind than he probably did. He didn’t realise how wrong those words back then, blinded by the anger and pressure and it completely worsened the situation.

There's no way back, Jungkook had said everything to Taehyung and words simply don’t die in air.

Jungkook couldn't face bringing himself anytime soon to face his boyfriend and that is why he found himself sitting on the bench of a park.

The day grew dull like dusk. The dark, grey clouds veiled the bright rays behind, glooming the day further. There was no sign of sun, like his hope for better days.

Jungkook sat there without any thoughts in his head, completely lost and out of time. He was quiet on the outside, raging with thoughts in his mind.

He felt sorry and worthless at the same time. He felt apologizing was useless, Taehyung could still live a better life without him.

Jungkook remained sitting all alone crying, heart achingly on the bench, feeling lost. He had nothing with him, no phone or money, nowhere to go.

The weather began worsening by time, the clouds roared above, understanding Jungkook’s tremor. His mind or body couldn’t care because all he could think was his Taehyung.

Jungkook's knee jittered in the train. He did leave work early but it wasn't early enough for him.

He chugged down his coffee as the speaker announced his stop. Through the bustling crowd, he made his way to the steps, jogging a little.
