I looked up to see none other than.....

Joe.

"I'm... I'm not here to do anything I swear. I wanted to say sorry and tell you why I had to do it. As well as that he's lying." Joe said. I could tell he was nervous. He was playing with his hand and always tensing up.

"He's here I have to go but here's my number I really need to tell you why I did it and.. He's lying to you" He quickly said to me. He shoved a piece of paper in my hand and ran out of the restaurant. I was confused. Who was lying? Why did he do what he did? I was on my way back to the table to see that Connor, James and Marcus had joined us. Once I sat down at the table they all smiled at me, apart from Brad. My phone pinged whilst everyone was chatting. No one had a problem with Marcus as he didn't do anything wrong. He was funny, I liked him. I looked down at my phone to see a message from Brad I slid it open to see what it said.

'Why were you with Joe he could have hurt you. I would never forgive myself if you got hurt on one of our dates. Please don't get yourself mixed up with him. I like you too much to see you get hurt

Brad xxx'

I quickly sent a reply.

'Dont worry Brad I won't get hurt. If I did though you shouldn't blame yourself. What did you want to tell me earlier. When you messaged me this morning you said you had to tell me something xxx'

"Earth to Rachel." I heard Tristan say while he clicked his fingers. I looked up at him all confused. I think everyone figured out that I had tuned them out. Aeryn looked at me and stuck out her hand. I knew she wanted my phone it was pretty clear that, that is what she asked for. I slapped her hand giving her a high five. Everyone started laughing except for Aeryn and I.

"Phone." She stated across the table

"I think it's in your pocket. If you need to borrow one I'm sure Tristan won't mind you having a look in his pocket." I said before realising how it actually sounded. They both went bright red with embarrassment. Something I never thought I would see Tristan like.

James snatched my phone out of my hand and started reading the text messages. Brad hadn't looked up since I had got to the table. He didn't know James had my phone no one did, as he hid it under the table. My phone dinged and I was getting frustrated as I couldn't get my phone back.

*JAMES' POV*

'I don't want you hanging around with Joe or James. Rachel you have to trust me on this. Do not hang out with them. Please I don't want you getting hurt. I will tell you what I was on about later.
Brad xxx'

I saw the message that Brad sent to Rachel and was instantly pissed off. He can't say that I can't be friends with her. I looked over at Brad to see he was still waiting for he reply. I grabbed Rachel's wrist and dragged her out of the restaurant the boys were looking at me like I was crazy but Aeryn didn't seemed shocked. Rachel was practically running to keep up with me though.

*AERYNS POV*

I quickly asked Tristan to borrow his phone as mine died. I messaged Rachel and told her to meet us at the beach in one hour. She didn't reply which I wasn't really shocked at because I saw James had her phone when I was playing footsies with Tristan. Okay, okay yes I fancy him. Can you really blame me though? Look at that jawline. Okay Aeryn stop fantasising about him. I looked around the table to catch Connor looking at me. He quickly adverted his gaze. Awh he's so cute bless him. Why am I staring? I'm such an idiot stick to Tristan.

I looked over at Brad to see disappointment written all over his face. He was staring at the door he was gutted after all he had been ditched. I was pulled out of my thoughts by Tristan placing his hand on my thigh. His touch sent chills up my spine. It was magical. He passed me his phone again and it had a little note on the screen.

'What's up beautiful you look upset?' I smiled at him and placed a lingering kiss on his cheek telling him I was alright. When I looked into his eyes it felt like it was only us, in the room. It wasn't though. I quickly grasped his phone and left a message on the screen 'meet me in the disabled toilets 3 minutes xx'

"I'm going to go see my friend she's just across the restaurant." I smiled getting up and walking across the room.

I think I'm going to just start updating once a week on Wednesdays not sure :/
