chapter 4 - dad

"Naruto" shikamaru says as he knocks on the door Waiting for a reply. "Coming!" He hears after a long time of waiting. Well long for shikamaru.

Shikamaru  takes two steps back as the door opens and the boy with whiskers opens the door with the big smile of his on his face

"heyo!.. Wait pineapple head?"

Shikamaru looked at boy with slightly annoyed look. "Yeah only me." He said  "so you were alive."

Naruto started laughing "pffffttt hahahah" he laughed at the though of him being dead there was no way he, the future hokage would die right?

"What's so funny?"

He hears an annoyed voice say nd looks back at shikamaru as he calms down "you're just funny. There's no way I  would die right! I would need to kill my self if I wanted to die" shikamarus face went pale as the desert villages sand.

"W-what?"

Naruto started laughing again "sorry to worry but if I die who's gonna be the next hokage right I'm 15 shikamaru I'm not stupid" 

Before Nara could even sight in relieve a sound of baby crying started coming from narutos  small kitchen.

'Shit I forgot'

"Well I need to go thanks for checking on me!" Naruto says and slams the door shut. He rushed into the kitchen but there was no sight of a baby only a  kid who looked around 5 years old

"Hi"

Naruto looked up and down now about five years old looking kid his so called sensei was now even older. This all was too much for naruto and his three braincells. He had a kid. And that kid was gonna grow to be the adult he was  but just 5-8 years a day or a week? He would be a dad? 'No' or would he?

"What"  kakashi stared at the so called dad of his blacking out and staring at him  'he has the SAME attitude as kakashi sensei' confused but slightly worried naruto  came back to reality when he heard a voice behind him

"So this was what you have been hiding."

Naruto looked behind him ready to attack but only saw shikamaru.  He looked at naruto with a grin

"You have a kid?"

"Sbhwkahsvsbwhat?I-imeanyeahbut he'snotbutlikeyeahhe'smykid" naruto blurted out this mess of words only to get a shocked look from Nara

"yeah he....... he is"

"But isn't .... Isn't he hatake?" Nara asks whispering the last part that the youngest wouldn't hear. Naruto nodded "he is him. But somehow  he just ya'know?" Nara nodded as a response.

after  further explanation kakashi comes back with the apple he took from the basket which was on the table and had disgusted look on his face "this ain't even real?" Naruto bursted out laughing "I knew somebody would fall for it!" Nara chuckled at the two boys 'how annoying' he smiled

"This isn't funny." Kakashi said as he threw the fake apple in the trashcan placed under the sink. "It is kakashi it's funny" naruto says and looks down at his so called son.

"dad.."

Uzumaki and nara stopped laughing at the same time after hearing this.
The boys looked at each other whit a shock

"Yeah"

Naruto said trying to act neutral as possible this all was so new and the awkward silence between the three wasn't making anything better

"So I was wondering....what's my full name?"

Now naruto got it the boy had never had a name. Well he did but he didnt know it. naruto glanced over nara to get answers but nothing got even in the head of a boy whit 200+ IQ.

"Its...kakashi u-uzumaki..."

"Ah yeah"

Kakashi smiled  as he made his way to the living room.
Nara looked at naruto whit a shock. Narutos face whet from the happy half a fake smile he gave to kakashi to a full nervousness. He looked back at shikamaru. He knew what naruto was going to say

"Don't worry.... I won't say anything"

"I know"

The boys looked at each other and nodded. His name would be uzumaki as long as he grew up to be old enough to understand the situation him self.

Nara sighted "I'll go now I have missions to do"

Naruto looked at nara. The boy who had all of his trust "yeah bye" soon after this Nara left the kitchen saying his byes to kakashi and leaving the apartment. Quietly and unsure about everything naruto made his way into the living room. He was known for being the center of attention but now he couldn't even say a word and all that anxiety annoyed him.

"Dad?"
