"What do I need .. What do I need"

Naruto said having his finger almost glued onto his bottom lip as he glanced up and down in the open wardrobe which was nicely filled with a couple of jeans and a jacket. Ending up with nothing to take with him he shook his head and looked at the almost lime green frog like wallet on the table next to him

"I know exactly what I'll take!"

"Naruto! I heard you're leaving today troublesome"

Shikamaru said to catch the blondes attention. Naruto apparently did hear but didn't turn his head to see who was coming. the smell of cigarettes and the way shikamaru spoke was way too usual for naruto to forget

"Yep! Just waiting for Pervy sage"

He said finally turning his head around to face him. Shikamarus face shined in the morning sun not leaving a single shadow in his face

'Too bad for the one who uses shadows'

Naruto giggled making shikamarus expression go to even more bored looking.

"Am I that funny looking? ... Well anyways it sure was a drag to get up this early but I wanted to say bye before the hope of this village leaves."

"me?"

"No jiraiya"

Naruto and shikamaru both giggle only to hear a soft kinda whiny like hello next to them

"Konohamaru?!"

"Yep! Naruto nii-chan!"

Naruto  smiled bright to this boy he pretty much liked. Shikamaru had no idea who konohamaru was and why did naruto know him.

"You know him?"

He said pointing the kid next to naruto he got a nod from naruto as he began to explain.

"He's the grandson of the third hokage and kinda my student"

Naruto scratched the back of his head and smiled. Shikamaru was quite shocked to hear that naruto had a student he raised his eyebrows at this.

"I thought him my sexy-jutsu"

'Anddd there it goes our great future hokage naruto....' Shikamaru thought and had his face back to its normal expression: blunt pokerface

"Well bye for now see you in couple years"

"Yeah! I'll miss you!"

Naruto smiled waiving at shikamaru he waved back turning his head away from naruto and taking a lighter from his pocket to smoke another cigarette. Soon as  shikamaru was done waiving and a light Grey colored smoke cloud climbed up the orange sky slowly fading as it went further naruto turned his head back to konohamaru.

"So what?"

"You're going to leave?"

"Yep with jiraiya-sensei!"

Before konohamaru would even get shocked they hear a blunt hey from far away. And like it was his instinct he turned his head at that way

"Kakashi!"

He smiled seeing this man walk towards him holding something paper like in his hands. He was happy to see him naruto had gotten worried that what if kakashi didn't show up. He stopped right next to naruto and offered the now letter looking paper to naruto.

"Hm? What's this?"

"Its what they call a love letter.."

"WHAT??"

The elder ones had totally forgotten the existence of this kid. Naruto blushed up to his hairline from embarrassment and kakashi just wished that he had noticed the boy.
Naruto began to explain under his shock like flusterness.

"N-no its not like that! Its umh a love letter from uh.. Sakura! Yeah her ! Right kakashi?"

Kakashi nodded hoping that narutos bad lying and acting would  Convince the grandson of the third hokage. 

Apparently it did.

"Yeah! Who else"

Konohamaru smiled at naruto seeing this sight in relieve kakashi did too but lot more quiet. 'Weird..' Konohamaru thought and jumped on naruto to give him a hug.

"Promise to come back alive nii-san!"

"I will"

Konohamaru smiled letting go of naruto and saying his last byes to the two before completely fading into the crowd of people that there already was although it was 10am.

"That was close.."

"Yep"

Naruto slowly nodded along his answer. Kakashi opened his arms looking like a big owl about to fly away.

"Where's mine?"

Naruto smiled at how stupid his sensei looked like and just gave kakashi what he asked for. A warm hug the last one they would have in two years. Kakashi smelled sweet like caramel. Naruto almost licked his jacket but came back to reality before doing so.
