Picture of the gorgeous girl that plays Emily, anyone else remember her from the Bratz film or is it just me? (; Not sure on this chapter but on the plus side it's long(ish) because it's been a bit of time since I last updated!
Loves, please read a/n at the end because I have some news!

Chapter Six: She Can See The Light!
Day 2
I can't get comfy, one minute I'm too hot, the next I'm too cold. I keep rolling around trying to find a nice position, until... Thud.
Yes that was indeed the sound of me hitting the ground, dragging all the covers and blankets with me. Well done Cynth.
Rubbing my sore elbow that took the blow of me hitting the hardwood floor, I stand up slowly and glance at my alarm clock which reads; 8:30.
Shit shit, holy shit. I had forgotten to set my alarm last night and I had to be in school in 10 minutes, bearing in mind that it was a 10 minute drive to get there. If I was late again, I was a dead girl. I rush into the bathroom, peeing as fast as humanly possible and I grab my toothbrush as I leave the room.
In my bedroom, I find a pair of black jeans underneath a pile of classic novels, it's a pair that fold up slightly at the bottom. I snatch them in a hurry, shoving my one leg in. I hop around the room still brushing my teeth and pick up my favourite black baggy sweatshirt, pulling it over my head. I run into my bathroom, spit into the sink and put my toothbrush back.
I run back into my bedroom and brush my hair through quickly, thanking the Lord that I had taken a shower last night. After putting on minimal makeup, I grab my gun and my backpack, nearly falling down the stairs.
Once I reach the bottom, I run towards the door and throw on my all-white vans. Hoping towards the door, I sling my bag over my one shoulder, smartly spilling out all of its contents as I had forgot to zip it up.
"Are you fucking kidding me?" I screech, holding my hands up in the air.
-
I burst through the main school doors at 9:03 and run down the empty hallway like a vampire on steroids. Without even stopping by my locker, I head straight for my first class that happens to be Maths. I internally groan, great.
Once I had reached the door, without even taking a breath, I swing it open making it loudly hit the wall behind.
"Your wish has been fulfilled, I am here!" I declare, holding my arms out as I plunge into the room.
"Yes!" Emily cheers while clapping her hands loudly, Mason whooping from beside her.
Everyone, and I mean everyone, is looking at me. Again, well fucking done Cynth.
"Cynthia, late as per usual I see," Mrs Cahaan sneers, placing her glasses on the tip of her nose. Her oily blonde hair is in a matted bun, practically on her forehead, and she's wearing peculiar shade of purple lipstick. "Here's your detention slip, you've just lost your lunchtime," wonderful, "take a seat... Now!"
I hold my hands up in mock surrender and made way to the back of the classroom, high-fiving Emily and Mason as I pass them. Soon after I had taken my seat, Mrs Cahaan resumes to teaching the class. I looked slightly to my left and see Houston sitting in the corner with his feet up on his desk. He smirks lightly at me, chuckling deeply and shaking his head in disapproval.
So I flip him off.
-
Maths finishes eventually and it's time for my second lesson of the day; History. I knew that Houston was in this class with me and it made me feel a lot better because it meant that I could keep a close eye on him without having to make much effort. The walk to the class is filled with Emily ranting about Tabitha who had apparently shoved her into a locker earlier.
