“You know, I’ve always wanted to sleep on the floor. Thanks game.” Terriel loved sarcasm. “Let’s see what Phone Guy has to say.”

The phone clicked, and the message began.

“Hello, hello? Hey! Hey, wow, day 4. I knew you could do it.”

“Thanks- why do you sound so nervous?” Terriel checked the show stage, so far, nothing.

“Uh, hey, listen, I may not be around to send you a message tomorrow.”

At that moment there was a banging sound, just like when Foxy banged on the door. Terriel checked Pirate’s Cove, nothing.

“It's-It's been a bad night here for me. Um, I-I'm kinda glad that I recorded my messages for you-” The phone guy cleared his throat. “-uh, when I did.”

“Uh, hey, do me a favor.” More banging. Was that from the phone? “Maybe sometime, uh, you could check inside those suits in the back room?” How long was Foxy going to stay at Phone Guys door? “I'm gonna to try to hold out until someone checks. Maybe it won’t be so bad.” Terriel checked Pirate’s Cove. Nothing. The Show Stage? Bonnie and Chica were both gone. “Uh, I-I-I-I always wondered what was in all those empty heads back there.” Suddenly, a soft song began to play, was Freddy there as well?!

“You know...” There was a strange moan, and even though it was from the phone it sounded like it was in the room, causing Terriel to check the cam, only to find that both Bonnie and Chica were in the corners, and Foxy was already poking his head out. “Oh, no –“ Suddenly, a distorted screech broke out, almost like the animatronic’s screech- and then static.

The static continued for a good 5 seconds before the message ended. “Oh… Ph-Phone Guy’s dead… He had all the animatronics in there too… Is that going to happen tonight!?” Already panicking, Terriel checked the corners, only to hear the same strange amalgamation of noises that he heard from night 2, only this time coming from the animatronics themselves, and was accompanied by their heads twitching violently as they stared at the camera. “And you’re right outside my door too… dear god.” Terrified, Terriel checked Pirate’s Cove, Foxy was poking his head out already. “Nope.” Terriel said, putting the tablet down so he didn’t throw it into the hall. “SO. MUCH. NOPE.”

At 3 am, things were actually going quite smoothly. Bonnie and Chica didn’t eat up power, and Terriel was actually able to keep Foxy at bay, so now he had been in the sprint position for an hour, and the player had 65% power, trying to conserve as much as he could after what happened the previous night. At that moment, he felt he was finally becoming comfortable with the mechanics when he heard it, Freddy’s song, the one he played when the power runs out. Nearly dropping the tablet, he checked the show stage.

                                        Freddy was gone.

                                          This was bad.

                                             Very bad.

Terriel had no idea what Freddy’s mechanics could be, where he would strike, and when, and how. “This is the night I die.” He muttered to himself, and for the first time he wondered if the respawn mechanic was enabled. Probably not, and he wasn’t in the mood to test it out. Checking Pirate’s Cove, he decided to spare a couple seconds to look for Freddy.

He may have used a few more than a few seconds, but Terriel was finally able to pinpoint Freddy to the back of the Dining Hall, only because he wasn’t paying much attention. He was just looking over the cams one last time when he noticed it, two pinpricks of light in the distance. He had seen Dining Hall enough to know those weren’t there before, “Do I have to watch you like Foxy or som- FOXY!” Switching over to Pirate’s Cove, Terriel screamed, he took too long. Slamming the door shut, Terriel realized he had caught Foxy just in time, for not a second had passed when the animatronic ran over, banging on the door. “Alright… now I have two animatronics to watch.” Checking the door lights, the player sighed. This was going to be bad.

Somewhere between 5 and 6 AM, Terriel had 15% left, Bonnie’s unrelenting obsession with staying at the door became a major problem, Chica went back to the kitchen, Foxy ran to his door several times, and Freddy somehow managed to get to the east corner, forcing Terriel to come up with a new plan. He had come up with the idea that if he closed Freddy/Chica’s door while he was in the corner, he wouldn’t’ be able to get in. Unfortunately, that would consume a lot of power, so Terriel decided he would only put it down when he checked the cameras. It seemed to be working, since that’s what he had been doing since 4 AM.

“Don’t mess up, not now.” He muttered to himself, one slip up and he would be dead. He’d already died once, he wasn’t planning on leaving again. He was so focused on not messing up, in fact, that he didn’t notice the power depleting until it was already at 0%

“Oh. Ok.” He muttered to himself. He flinched when the doors opened, but surprisingly wasn’t scared when Freddy showed up to play his song. Suddenly, Terriel had a thought. What if… when the power ran out, all the other animatronics went back to their spots, resetting early? ‘Well, it’s too early for 6 am, if I’m gonna die I’m not gonna wait for it to happen.’ So, just like that, in the middle of Freddy’s song, Terriel stood from his chair, placed the tablet on the table, and walked out the right door. He smiled as he heard Freddy’s song falter, then stop altogether. ‘One upside to being stuck in the game- you get to break the rules.’

By the time Freddy understood what was happening, Terriel was under the farthest dining hall table, ready to run off if the need came. For what seemed like hours he listened to Freddy wander the place, searching for him. He was just starting to think that he had it in the bag when he heard the noise of fabric being moved. Freddy was checking under the tables, crap.

‘Come on, 6am, 6am!’ Terriel mentally pleased, he had come so freaking far, he wasn’t going to die now. Freddy had checked the table next his, this was now or never. He began to run when he felt something grab his leg- and pull him back.

“No! NO! NO PLEASE!” He screamed as he came face to face with Freddy. He tried to pry Freddy’s fingers apart, but the animatronic had a strong grip, and also Terriel has hanging upside down, that may have been a problem. Freddy screeched and grabbed Terriel by the neck, chocking the player. He tried one last time to free himself, but the player’s energy was fading, and the edges of his vision was fading to black. Out of all the ways to die, this one had to be the worst.

And then, like a miracle, there were bells. 6Am had actually come.

Freddy dropped Terriel, who fell to the floor and just laid there. ‘OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHMYGOD IM ALIVE!” He said, rolling around on the floor. “And that was night 4! There’s no way I’m beating night 5!” Terriel managed to get to his feet, shaking. “But I’ll do it! I’ll beat the game! And not die! Yeah!” He turned to Freddy, only to see a giant paw go flying at his face. Freddy hit Terriel so hard that the player went flying across the hall and smashed head-first into the stage. He fell to the ground in a heap, and didn’t get up. Probably unconscious.

Freddy looked around nervously, walked over to Terriel, picked him up, and set him back down in the office. ‘This is the farthest anyone had gotten without dying…’ The animatronic thought to himself, sighing. ‘Even with the interference.’ He knew what that meant, all the animatronics did.

Either this player would save them all, or die in the most horrific way imaginable.
