:FINAL CHAPTER: short chapter

"Blake Ollison..." I walk up from the line of seniors and grab my diploma while shaking the principals hand. I walk up to the mic and look at the crowd in front of me.

"High school was hell, good luck to you lower class man you'll need it. Also I'm a gaybie, and happy pride month." People in the crowd started to clap as I walked off of the stage.

"Peyton Arabella..." she walk to the mic, not grabbing her diploma.

"High school is shit and I'm a gaybie. Happy pride month" she takes the diploma from the principal and runs up to me. We high five each other and wait for the other two to come.

"Kayla Owens..." she walks up to the principal and gets her diploma, then goes to the mic.

"Fuck school, I'm not going to college and I'm a gaybie too. Happy pride month."

"Go Oprah!" I yell loudly, causing Kayla to smile and walk off the stage. We fist bump and turn around to see Aj get his diploma.

"Lastly, we have my adorable....Aj?" The principal says confusedly. Peyton and Kayla snicker as I try to hold in my laugh. We may or may not have changed his name on the paper. The principal looks our way and we all look down.

"This is a nice carpet" Kayla says.

"Oh yeah, very interesting" I agree.

"For sure" Peyton agrees after.

We look back after a minute or two, to see Aj at the mic.

"I'm a gaybie and I hate this school. Happy pride month!"

I whistle loudly and clap.

"Awesome speech babe! Couldn't have said it better myself" I yell loud enough for him to hear. He looks my way with a large smile on his face. He walks over to me and gives me a quick kiss on the lips before giving Peyton and Kayla a hug.

"Looks like we all made it" Peyton says smiling.

"Together" Kayla continues.

"I couldn't have asked for anything more" I say after.

"Wouldn't change it for the world" Aj finishes off.

We smile at each other and end up in a group hug that seemed to last a lifetime. I don't mind it though.

"Congratulations Blake. I'm proud of you" my brother says, pulling me into a hug.

"Thank you, that means a lot" I tell him while returning the hug.

"Want to celebrate at the new pizza place?" He asks me and my friends, "it's on me."

We look at each other before nodding frantically. Pizza sounded really good right now. I grab Aj's hand and we walk to my brothers car since we still didn't have one. Kayla didn't have a car yet either, so she rides with Peyton. Not after smothering her with kisses. I'm not lying when I said Peyton looked happier than she's ever been.

I'm happier than I've ever been. My life was a train wreck, but it's getting better. It is better.

The end.
