CHAPTER FOURTEEN! ༉‧₊˚✧

SIRIUS WASN'T GOING to lie; He felt a little creepy right now.

Perhaps standing outside of the hedge entrance to the gardens of Talwar Manor, ready to scale the wall so that he could get to her bedroom, wasn't the best approach to ease their way back into friendship, but then again, he didn't exactly want to be just friends.

Diya was sitting on her balcony, hurriedly writing, taking breaks to overlook the garden. Sirius smiled as he stepped slowly into the light.

There was a massive tree with branches that led up to the balcony.

The perfect path.

Sirius quietly walked forward, quickly scaling the bark and balancing on the branches as he lowered himself down to her balcony railing. He had felt himself scratch his limbs on some of the boughs but tried his hardest to stay silent, enjoying the thrill of being able to scare her.

"Why is your room so high?"

Diya let out a squeal, startled by the abrupt question. Thankfully, her intruder covered her mouth so that her scream wouldn't wake anyone.

Diya shoved his hand off of her mouth, "Merlin, Sirius!"

Diya laughed, scooting closer to the boy who was sitting on her balcony railing. She placed a hand over her heart, trying to steady her beating pulse. "I don't know! Why are you covered in scratches?"

"What can I say?" He flashed a blinding smile, "You wound me, Talwar."

Diya squinted her eyes playfully, chuckling, but stifled the noise quickly, not wanting anyone to know what she was doing.

Sirius smiled at Diya's flushed state. "Let's go."

"Go where?" Diya scrunched her eyebrows together in confusion.

"We'll go for a stroll!"

"Are you joking?" Diya let out a chuckle, "My parents would kill me, Sirius."

"Well . . . " Sirius stepped onto the balcony, walking over to the doors and peering inside sarcastically. "I don't see them."

Diya glared at him playfully, glad that the two of them were nearly back to the way that things were. Sirius only glared back, starting an intense staring match.
