Finally, I had found it. The factory. It was windy and foggy, but I could recognize it right away. The smell of the rich, frothy chocolate overwhelmed me. My cheeks were starting to sting from the bone-chilling wind.
Wait. Why was there not a single person in sight? Was I in the right place? I shrugged and kept walking, fighting the icy weather. I was getting closer and closer. I couldn't let these freezing winds or the slick ice on the road stop me.
After what felt like hours, I found myself standing in front of the doors. Finally, I had the chance to make things better. Hm. Why weren't there any oompa loompas around? I shrugged it off, made a fist, and pounded it on the door, waiting for someone, anyone, to answer.
That's when I heard a familiar voice, coming from somewhere outside. One I hadn't heard in many years.
